What a limp start to the DCU. Not a fan of this show at all. I’ll revisit it at some point and hopefully I’ll change my mind. But almost nothing about this show worked for me, and I just found myself so bored.

Season one was weak and a limp start to the DCU. I’m only interested to see what characters they use from the comics . Not the show itself. Hated how they wasted Circe. She would’ve been the obvious choice for a villain in Wonder Woman 3, but they neutered and wasted the character.

I didn’t hate this show I just wasn’t impressed by it at all, and wouldn’t have released it as the first DCU project.

Frank Grillo's unacceptably terrible voice acting was the only thing funny about this show. He's barely an actual actor in live action, let alone in a booth. Pairing him up with someone insanely talented at voice work like Tudyk was just humiliating to listen to.

Only the second worst VA performance though. That award goes to Viola Davis who I'm fairly confident was literally talking in her sleep for all the energy and investment that went into her delivery. One of the greatest living actresses, obviously, but Good Golly.

CCH Pounder’s voice is who I always hear when I’m reading the comics. Such great casting, I would’ve been happy if they snagged her for live action too.

I finally finished his the other day. Look i absolutely love James Gunn but this series was a dud for me. I know we’ll continue to see Flag and Waller (as we should) but Gunn doesn’t need to revisit any of these other characters. I love Indira Varmer, David Harbour and some of the other actors but maybe Gunn can find better uses for them in the future.

Eh, agree to disagree. I thought the story's conclusion was the weakest part but the main characters and they're portrayals were super fun imo. Especially the Bride, Frankenstein, Phosphorus and GI Robot.

I absolutely hated this show but Frankenstein and GI Robot are amazing characters.

Gunn said there would be some surprising additions in S2. With Enchantress getting a mention on Peacemaker tonight, it makes me wonder…

If I could retcon the DCU, Creature Commandos would have been live action instead of The Suicide Squad. But this was a fine show; I'd watch a S2.
