Homecoming Crowd Reactions

My crowd got a big gasp at the twist. Actually my crowd was perfect from beginning to end.

Audience laughed at every little joke.

Biggest reaction were the "reveals".

Every one was very immersed and really into it like we all became children again

Most everyone clapped afterwards. Every single person stayed until the post credits.

Some people snapped their fingers and I heard "Miles" when Aaron Davis said he has a nephew that lives in the neighborhood. Lots of laughs at all the right moments, especially the porn line, the tension in the twist scene, the big unexpected line at the end (can't believe that's in a Marvel Studios movie, let alone Spider-Man, loved it).

My crowd enjoyed it but didn't laugh as much. But almost everyone stayed for the after credit scenes.

You're lucky. I got the worst of the worst trailers. Not one trailer for a Marvel movie. I was waiting for Black Panther to show up and nothing :( I'm going to see this movie again tomorrow at a different theater so hopefully they'll have different trailers.

Same. Seeing it in IMAX Saturday so I should get better trailers then

I was completely occupied by the film so didn't pay attention to the crowd but I got there early and seeing the smiles and bright eyes coming out of the showing before mine says a lot about how much fun people have when they see this.

Crowd loved it. The back and forth with Karen was a real hit in my audience.

The after credits scene with Cap got a lot of laughs. Some poor girl had hung out with her boyfriend a few rows back and says: "Wait...THIS is what we were waiting for?!" :lmao:

no reaction in mine to the MJ line.

Only a few people that went "really" and a few gasps.

Stupidest, worst, dumbest part of the movie.

my crowd was exactly how I was some chuckled but not claps what so ever

The crowd was good last night. Good reactions to everything, and there was applause at the end. :)

Honestly, I think me and my brother were the only ones who even giggled. It was an empty cinema bar a few other people. Didn't hear a squeek out of them.

no reaction in mine to the MJ line.

I would not expect most of GA to even understand what that meant.

my crowd - for the twist - collectively went "Wha...?" haha

Rowdy before hand but during the movie they were just fine as anyone would expect during a movie of this magnitude.

How many of your fellow movie goers dressed up?

I had 3 different spider-men in my movie theater with actual costumes.

haha Classic Spidey - homemade spidey (literally homemade) - and an ultimate spidey.

Truth.

From overhearing people talk before my movie, seems i was with decenttly knowledgeable people - alot of people were like - wtf - when that came about.

Nobody dresses up in Charlotte. :( I was the closest I suppose, with my Midtown High t-shirt.

Very good crowd for 9:30 show. Lots of laughter and clapping and "Ooooh" and "Ahhhs" at the right moments. I teared up. I was glad to see Spider-Man back again. Tom Holland nails it. Wore my Cap shirt. I wear it to all Marvel movies.

The little twist at the end got a big "Whooo," as did the surprise cameo a little before.

Awesome crowd at the previews. Laughed at the jokes and gasped at the reveal. I don't think anyone left until after credits.

Hated the order of the trailers, they opened with Black Panther and then "Wonder". The Wonder movie sort of kills a mood because the tone.

I was a little disappointed that we didn't get Black Panther. I was really looking forward to seeing everyone's reaction. We got that horror movie where that teenage girl gets ten wishes or whatever that was just so wrong for the audience.

The crowd was definitely into it from the beginning, but I couldn't really hear over my friends sitting behind me. A lot of excitable, squeaky girls lol

Two significant reactions;

- When Toomes answers the door at Liz's house.
- When Ned is caught by the teacher at prom using his computer, and says he's watching porn.

Lots of laughs at my viewing.

I didn't get any trailers, just the opening sequence to the Valerian movie, which was disappointing because I was hoping to see Black Panther on the big screen.
