Infinity War Crowd Reactions

oh Jesus :funny:

It's a shame he didn't
stay to see SLJ disappear
cause it would only piss him off more :funny:

He probably would've attacked the screen he was FURIOUS, he was literally so mad he was panting.

In Los Angeles at what used to be known as Magic Johnson's Theatre near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and a street in the process of being renamed for President Obama by far the biggest reaction was the first screen shot of Wakanda. After that when Steve Rogers first came out of silhouette

Cap's entrance got the biggest reaction from my audience; they were clapping once he revealed himself. Thor's Wakanda entry, as awesome as that was, didn't get a similar reaction unfortunately.

The only other big reaction I can remember was gasps when Thanos impaled Tony with his blade.

There were a few kids who were crying at some of the on-screen deaths, though.

The first time we saw Wakanda was freaking epic, especially with the Black Panther theme kicking in. My favorite music moment in the movie, other than Guardians' first appearance

Seen it twice now and Thor’s Wakanda entrance and Spider-man’s last scene gets the biggest reactions both times. Gut punching.

Biggest reaction in my theatre came from Thor’s arrival on Wakanda.

The weirdest part was the end. One guy at my 11pm IMAX 3D viewing got up to start clapping - literally looking around at everyone inciting "C'mon wasn't that great!"

But nobody really clapped along. I think the deaths of all the heroes put everyone in a weird funk.

Yeah, this was probably the only time I've been to a film that incited such a positive response with so many laughs and cheers only to have stunned silence when the credits rolled. That happened in both my showings.

My crowd was pretty great. Laughed at all the funny lines and scenes and were stunned to silence at the end. Biggest reactions were Steve emerging from the shadows in Scotland and Thor’s entrance in Wakanda.

In my first viewing, I saw some people shedding tears after the ending. That scene was exhausting!

Danai's character got the most laughs with her reaction towards Banner and Wanda.

Anyone has any good kid reactions? i read this on another board and I cannot stop laughing:
There was a kid clutching a black panther claw looking shellshocked outside the theater so that was pretty great.

I saw a little kid at the start dressed up like Spider-Man. He wasn’t there at the end when I left. I hope his parents had a word with him about how it’s all pretend

A black dude at my showing said
"Awwwww man not my n*gga, noooooo" when Black Panther turned to ash, then he stormed out and said "Yall better not say **** to me!"

I've been laughing from that since Thursday. :lmao:

Haha, for some reason I got the giggles because this super tough guy on twitter wrote “they treated my little homie with disrespect” (meaning Spider-Man) and I thought that was so sweet. I didn’t know if he meant they as in the black order, marvel or even the avengers themselves

Typically in Ireland/UK, audiences don't really seem to 'do' reactions the way they do in USA. I can barely remember any cinema experience where people clapped or anything like that.

With that said, there was definitely a bit of 'oooooooooooh' when Thor appeared in Wakanda, some sniffles when Spidey's lights went out, and an extremely subdued silence at the end.

I'd like to think they were all cheering inside.

I've been to 3 different showings and each time the audience reaction to Cap's entrance gets a solid cheer and applause as does Thor appearance in Wakanda with Storm Breaker, Rocket & Groot

I couldn't hear dialogue sometimes because of the crowd but everyone was silent during the end

As it should be.

Some of the American crowd reactions sound like hell on earth.

Second time seeing and BOTH times, NO Applause at the end.

BOTH Time they cheered on Cap's first entrance and Thor's arrival in Wakanda.

Yep!

Saw it once in a threatre with recliners and that meant less people and laid back crowd.

Then saw it in an auditorium setting and it was SO much better. With a big crowd there was a ton of laughter and actual gasps and real applause when Cap first came out of silhouette and Bruce pointing out Thor's arrival!

Girl to my left was crying when people started turning into ash. A guy a few rows below loudly exclaimed “No” when Spidey says he isn’t feeling well.

You could also feel the hate when Star Lord goofs with Thanos.

In other words, best crowd experience I’ve had in a theater since Get Out.
