I know a fair few of you customise your own action figures. I was just wondering what type of action figure is best to use, and what type of sculpt/ materials would you need for sculpting?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

It really depends on what you want to make.

Marvel legends has some great non discript figures

well I would like to have them as a simular to my drawing style.

Well, judging from how similar your style is to bruce timm's, i'd guess the JLU series is the best place to find bases. I don't know the rest of the procedure, so I can't help with that. but yeah. I'd start with the Justice League line. They've got a lot to choose from.

I suggest buying a dremmel tool and using super sculpty for molding your own coustume extras. You can get both at any craft store. And look up some old issues of Wizard, back in the day they used to have how to features on custom figures.

Cheers dudes much appreciated. The only problem I find with the JLU toys are that they are quite dinky :(
