I think I'm going to hold off on this game and wait till the next-gen versions are officially announced.

So, I'll treat this as a launch title for when I get the new console. By then, it may be cheaper or on a good sale during the holidays.

I was planning on waiting to play this until next gen, but I recently picked up my first gaming PC so if it runs reasonably well on it (an RTX 2080 Super) I might just take the plunge in September.

The next gen version has already been announced. CDPR are releasing a free next gen upgrade patch for the Series X. So if you buy the game when it comes out you'll get both last gen and next gen versions.

If it doesnt run well on your computer I'd be shocked. You've got one of the most powerful GPUs on the market. If you didnt skimp on RAM and have a good monitor the game should be gorgeous on your computer. Dare I say more gorgeous than it could even be on the Series X and PS5.

I know about the upgrade process.

But I'm waiting to see if there will be an actual, separate Series X version to buy. If there will be, then I'll just wait to buy that version when I get the new console. Otherwise, I'll just get the X1 version and take advantage of the upgrade.

In case of CDPR it probably means expansions, like in case of The Witcher 3. Since they're pretty vocal about not being abusive towards players wallets. Well, at least they claimed that it's gonna be similar to W3. Free DLCs and payed major expansions.

I'm pretty sure CDPR has said they're working on a multiplayer mode but it'll be available post-launch.

Hmm, well that's interesting. I can already imagine people's characters if custom nit there is potential in game play and type of modes

It’s nice we’re starting to claim sex back in mature games now. Like, in video games you can be as violent as you want, guts everywhere, decapitations etc and then two characters have a physical love and suddenly bam, banned. Or it’s super cheesy over the top South Park style humour.

it reminds me of that game where the guy who developed it couldn’t use male genitalia so he replaced them with guns and that was fine for some bizarre reason

I love Wild Hunt. One of my three favorite games. I wouldn't say the sex is "mature".

The sex scenes aren't dragged out and aren't over the top. Mature enough and natural
