Gonna have to strongly disagree there, personally. The characters, for me anyway, are very well written and I'm often very interested in where things go.
I've put about 50 hours or so into this on PS5, and I've beaten the main story. Some crashes aside, it's run beautifully on the PS5. I think the game probably shouldve pushed to march just so that they could get the bugs out, there's nothing they can do about that now other than fix them. Personally, I don't think they shouldve set a release date until they were sure. I also think perhaps releasing on last gen may have not been the most ideal choice but at the same time, this game was announced even before last gen consoles. It's a weird situation. I also think expectations for this game were far far far too high, to the point where it was being built as "the final game" haha. For me, it's a fantastic RPG that has bugs. I also love Night City, and can't stop taking photos of its wet/neon lit streets.
Regardless, I'm definitely happy with the game and it's definitely the most fun
had in a game like this since RDR2. Crashing is pretty much the only negative I've gotten so far, but It hasn't effected how much I'm loving it.
