Daisy Ridley wants to play Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew) in the MCU / Sony verse

Jessica Drew does have her own independent story completely separate from Spider-Man.

Jessica Drew Spider-Woman is more like a cross between Scarlet Witch, Black Widow and Winter Soldier with that moral ambiguity, Hydra connection, supernatural element, raised to be a trained assassin and a person out of time.

And her stories in her own comic run were much closer to the Angel TV series with that emphasis on darkness and macabre and also being a private investigator.

With Jessica Drew, particularly in the early stories, there was often this emphasis on will she do the right thing or will she slip into villainy/ return to her Hydra origins/ go over to the dark side? If Elizabeth Olsen weren't Scarlet Witch she could easily have played Jessica Drew if there weren't all these Sony issues.

We need someone as compelling and watchable as Olsen in the role and I don't think Daisy Ridley is that.

Spider-Woman is always known for her extremely long hair. That pic looks like when half of her hair and costume were ripped off in issue 48 when she fought the Gypsy Moth.
