Drama Damon Lindelof Developing The Leftovers at HBO

Things are going to end so very, very badly for Kevin and Nora. :(

I don't want that or won't be able to handle it. Nora is so ****ing awesome...

God, these episodes this season are like McGwire and Sosa out home-running each other. The sarcastic ghost Patty is killing it, did she basically say Laurie (her old shrink) took a **** on her ex-husband?

The opening with Nora was mindblowingly great acting, and then the crazy **** with Patty and Kevin. The second departure is one thing, but then the suicide confession, let alone the crazy jesus guy saying "Hey, whose your friend?". Bravo, team... bravo.

Also, Rick-Roll. ****, so great.

i was like whaaaaaat!

I have to listen to that dump part again. I thought she dumped in a paper bag when she had Laurie as a thearpist. Laurie didn't do that, right? I don't remember.

This season is better than last season for me. I can't wait for next week. The reverand's POV is always great. :hmr:

EDIT: or is she trying to say that she saw the mistress dump on her husband. And maybe that's why she dumped in the bag

Jesus christ, this show is on another level than anything else on TV, ridiculously great, Theroux continues to amaze, Coon is great, Ann Dowd was brilliant as well, the cinematography is gorgeous, the writing on frickin point. Damn

The new theme song is growing on me.
Me, too. Picked it up on iTunes today. :)

Yup another great episode. It just gets better and better.

Each episode out does the previous. ****ing fantastic show!

From the writing to the acting and the music. Yes this show is something special.

Wow. Another fantastic episode. I seriously think this is the best work Eccleston has ever done as an actor. I've seen him play villains, psychopaths, weirdos, etc. but he's just so vulnerable here that every Matt-centric episode just knocks it out of the park. The big question now is: Did Mary actually wake up, or
is a Matt a rapist?

I truly hope it's not the latter, however, you can certainly interpret it either way. Whichever one it is, Matt clearly believes that she woke up, but... that doesn't necessarily mean that she did.

That's 2 for 2 with the Matt-centric episodes. He does such a great job with the character of Matt. I love Nora more and more every time she appears. She's the most loyal person on the show. She's really the only one that's taken full advantage of the second chance she got at happiness.

And John is really growing on me too. He's a real bastard but something tells me that they're going to keep building him up as the antagonist before he redeems himself at the end.

I'm really looking forward to Regina King's episode next week. She's an amazing actress and the promo looks awesome.

I loved this episode and how we finally got to see the "ghetto", whatever that place is called.

Yeah, Nora is the best. I'd marry her, pronto Mr. Kevin.

Yeah, John is just excellent. The guy is just straight-up intimidating to EVERYONE he encounters. I'm interested to find out what happened to him to make him that way.

fantastic episode.

Just unbelievable how good this show is. Matt centrics are so powerful and emotional.

I'm also excited for a Regina centric. She is a very good actress. So glad she was added to the cast.

I'm so glad I got into the show. The first couple of episodes weren't clicking for me, but I could sense something brilliant in the writing. And it paid off.

Someone needs to knock John "Cynic" Murphy down a few pegs. Sick of him thinking that because he doesnt believe that everyone else should be as cynical and miserable as him.

Another great episode!

He's making a great villain. It seems like he's angry because he seems to equate the miracles with worthiness. So these miracles can't happen because that would mean his family isn't as good as those who received miracles.

He knows they happen but he can't face what that means. So he shuts it out and forces people to lie so he can feel better. Now that I look back, I can better understand why he was angry at that dude who said he was going to have a bad future fate. Not only are others experiencing miracles, but now bad things are happening for him on top of that. He's got some emotional issues. Makes for an interesting vilain

I dont consider him a villain. Just an *******. Every town has its fair share.

Maybe John needs to consider that the reason miracles arent happening to his family is because he is such an *******. I wont be surprised if someone kidnapped or killed his daughter to get back at him.

If someone burned my house down, I would put them in the villainous category.

Matt's Horrible Day Part II was AMAZING. This show is something else, but nobody really talks about it and that's a bummer.

Another Sydney reference. Biblical rain:

I loved Kevin's reactions to everything Matt and John were saying. :funny:

God damn, that episode was astonishing. Nora is so amazing, as always. But, "Regina King" stepped up huge this week.

The DSD conversation and then the reveal with Kevin/Nora about Patty. **** me, holy ****.

The only thing that confused me is Patty said if you love your family you'd tell them about me, then he tells Nora and 'he shouldn't have done it'

Maybe Patty would expect them to run... But, they won't because they're all ****ed up as much as Kevin... Therefore Patty will "haunt" or break Kevin and Nora, etc. because they won't leave him behind.

The episode where everyone blames themselves for the girls disappearing. :p

This has been an incredible season.
