Drama Damon Lindelof Developing The Leftovers at HBO

BS. Nora running off with the baby the way she did was childish and stupid in the extreme. I understand that she was freaked out or even pissed off, but you dont just toss the baby in the car and disappear to wherever and not answer you partner's phone calls. The minute she did that she lost any morale high ground she had.

That episode did right ever thing and more that s6 of LOST tried to do. Holy ****, I'm in awe...

The big dick joke... The Bond homages... s1 cameos... marvelous.

This episode was probably the coolest one they ever did. It's by far and away the best of the season and I'd put it right up there with ep 8 and 9 from last year.

It looks like Meg is planning on f***ing some s**t up. :mrk:

It hurt my brain but in a good way, lol. :p It was crazy.

At first I thought it was Kevin's internal heaven. His own private heaven/limbo.

It was so good! I loved it!

If Kevin has Patti - Who is talking to kevin's dad? And wasn't he trying to kill himself too at some point?

I got this funny "heaven is what you make it" feel. An amalgam of movies, music, thoughts, dreams and desires.

Gonna be sad when the season is over and we have to wait again for more. :(

Last episode was SOOOO LOST. I loved it.

(And, by the way, I just finished 2nd season's 8 episodes in a row. Eight hours with my mind somewhere else).

This show was made for binge watching, lol. It's just that good.

How did I not see Megan's plan...? And, that twist. Holy ****!

Also, the transitions tonight with the music was outstanding.

Speaking of the twist. The handprints, the 'silent car ride', and the knock-knock joke were all amazing season long story points.

Wow they just totally went and tied everything back to the very first episode. I've never been a fan of backwards writing and retcons but that was seamless and a god damn writing clinic on how to construct a story arc.

Simply amazing. If HBO doesn't bring these remarkable creative minds and actors back next year it will be the biggest injustice in the history of television...

Just when you think you've got this show figured out...BAM! Not what I expected Tommy to find.

Another brilliant episode. Fantastic writing.

Amazing. Simply amazing. This is superb television. I always said Lindelof was more than capable of great stuff. I'm happy there's more evidence with The Leftovers.

Lindelof is capable of great stuff when his schtick works with the story and the format, but the problem is that his schtick doesnt always work with the story or the format.

Someone else pointed out that the three nooses on the bridge from e8 with Kevin, Meg's weird glare up at the bridge... as if an idea popped into her head, and now the possession of Evie and her 2 friends by Meg all lead to a 'sacrifice' on that damn bridge.

This 10-episode format with plenty of time in between seasons, works perfectly for Lindelof.

Do we know yet if this has been renewed?

This last episode! :wow:

I figured it was the missing kids when they showed the locked up barn but it was still an OMG moment.

I feel like I missed so many of the callbacks/clues. I'm going to need to rewatch everything. :funny:

John's cricket was a ringtone! HOT DAMN... This show!

Wait whaaaat??? I missed the clue for this.
