Very curious if the Guilty Remnant are indeed gone, but a great start. Lot of intrigue, lot unexplained, and still tugs at the heartstrings at times. Yup, The Leftovers has not changed a bit.

The show still does an incredible job at conveying emptiness and how meaningless things can be. The emotional apocalypse of the Sudden Departure is omnipresent, even after almost 7 years and with our main characters more or less doing their best to move on.

A very great and intriguing premier. I know Lindelof isn't gonna give us the answers this season and I don't need them, but I am also left wondering like John Murphy - what is the point? Is there one? What's the meaning of what the characters go through? I'm interested in if Lindelof will give us some semblance of meaning in this regard.

It would be disappointing to have this being the last season that it is and be left hanging too much.
