One of my favorite episodes is when Dale is convinced he's living in the Megalo Mart.Chuck Mangione, who had a moderate recurring role on the series, has died at the age of 84.

They wanted to avoid Trump.I'm only three episodes in but I'm digging the new episodes. The thing I'm confused about is that there's only a 9 year time jump. I get that the original run from 1997-2009 wasn't meant to be in real time even though certain real life events occurred like George W. Bush's presidency, etc. but I feel like 9 years is a little too short a timeframe between the last season and now.
They bring up the pandemic though. They wanted to avoid Trump.
Don't think about animated series timeline too hard.
Whataburger makes sense. I still miss Texas Burger. They had seasoned fries.![]()

I don't think the show would be dark enough to kill both leaving Uncle Bobby to take care of Gracie as a parallel to Hank and Peggy taking care Luanne. Maybe I stole this from Wattpad. No mention at all of Luanne, Lucky or Gracie. Just a blink and you'll miss it background photo on a wall reference. Literally, that was it. I had to see a screencap, zoomed in, to see that much.
Maybe season 15/2 will have an actual acknowledgement of their status.
It's stolen from somewhere. I've seen it mentioned a few times already on other parts of the internet.I don't think the show would be dark enough to kill both leaving Uncle Bobby to take care of Gracie as a parallel to Hank and Peggy taking care Luanne. Maybe I stole this from Wattpad.
Is that why they moved her out of the house... Only to undo all her character development...I saw in an interview that Judge said that they're keeping the characters retired out of respect for Murphy and Petty but I don't think a mention would be out of the question. In the same interview they said that they had to recast Dale because of him being a much more prominent character since Luann was in the show less frequently once Brittany Murphy became busier in Hollywood.
