can we talk about the tone/look of the show for a bit
my one worry is since this is a netflix show, people will have certain expectations (house of cards/orange is the new black) but since marvel tv/abc is making this, with netflix as the distributor, some people might feel bait and switched?
basically my concern is that i felt agents of shield was a) too light-hearted in tone and more importantly b) felt so "TV"
the camera work/cinematography/sets were a big step back compared to the movies, and i get that, budgets, etc...
but the TV/netflix bar has been raised so much (house of cards, boardwalk empire, breaking bad, game of thrones, etc), i just hope it "looks right." it should feel like the one big 13hr long piece, as opposed to just episodes with mini-storyarcs.
for example boardwalk empire and house of cards take place over several months, but if you were to watch each episode back-to-back they have a "flow" to them, and it's very organic
