Also I find it very interesting that he hasn't mentioned at all the Rosario Dawson casting.

Yeah, DeKnight has directed several episodes of Angel, Smallville and Dollhouse that he wrote.

Oddly enough, I was never a big Bill Paxton fan until seeing him on S.H.I.E.L.D. I like more as a character actor than leading man, he's bland as sh** when he's the leading man.

I liked his movie that he directed, Frailty. I rented that one on a whim when it came out, had never heard of it or seen a trailer of it. Was pleasantly surprised. Good cast too, Bill Paxton, Matthew McConaughey and Powers Boothe.

For a brief period of time, BBC regular director Farren Blackburn (Luther, Doctor Who) had a tweet up stating that he'd be working on Netflix's Daredevil. The tweet's now deleted.

And yet nothing from him about Rosario Dawson.

Ironically, I was watching the Mighty Ducks this weekend and wondered what happened to him.

I think that the cast is pretty good....for a show....a show about a superhero. Not sure what you were expecting, but there are lots of awesome shows who don't have famous casts like Vikings and hell even GOT does not have any household names...yet they are still great shows.

Really? I really like the cast so far. Cox, d'onofrio and Rosario Dawson wow! I couldn't imagine getting a group that good for a tv series!

I didn't really expect major names for these shows, so its fine.

For Dawson, we don't even know she is playing yet.

D'Onofrio, I'm very excited he's playing Kingpin. He's a great, underrated actor.

The Agents of SHIELD cast are minor leaguers. There's a big difference between a network show and a Netflix series. I mean, Arrow and Flash have a minor league cast as well. Doesn't mean they can't grow and make their mark.

That said, Daredevil's cast is impressive. I really want to see what Charlie Cox can do in his role.

I guess Marvel wants to make a big splash when they dive into the Netflix pool. They're setting themselves up nicely for a big one.

I have a feeling these Marvel shows are going to set the bar for Netflix Originals.
