Also I noticed fans in this thread attacking SM3 for too many villains and too many subplots, but didn't both cuts of DD suffer from too many characters so thinly developed that the last half hour (of both versions, with the TC being only 100 minutes) boiled down to a series of fights?

I'm just saying DD knew what overcrowding was and the ending did not pace well.

Totally disagree, the Directors cut of Daredevil is still to this very day one of the very best superhero movies ever made! I still can't believe the decision to cut that movie for theatrical release?

I like the idea of Mysterio, done right he would be awesome on screen, the Kingpin has hired him to take Daredevil out because he wants revenge and with DD gone he can expand his criminal empire.

Kingpin using Daredevil's identity to make his life a living hell pretty much works for me. Bullseye failed him so he's pretty much working freelance now to get revenge. I would like to see him escape just like he did in the comics. Now THAT was daring. Oh and give him a costume similar to Daredevil's just to show how obsessed with him he is. With the fear of using white in costumes though (booo) they'd probably just make the white parts grey with the rest of the suit jet black.

Kingpin should have some hired help in the form of Typhoid Mary (the real one), The Matador, and Gladiator. Mmmaybe Tombstone as well...Or just scratch all that and hire The Enforcers.

If Spidey 3 taught us anything, it is too many sub plots make fans and reiwers unhappy. You may not like it, but too many villains and too many sub plots is why Spidey 3 was far less touted by the critics then say Spidey 2. Half the reviews were negative and every negative review said "too many villains, too many sub plots". Do you know more about movies then these film critics?

No. I just have a different opinion than they do. Besides, it may not be too many sub plots as much as it's too many sub plots handled badly.

easy way for typhoid marry to return... would be simple... hand resurects her spirit...and puts it in another body, giving her a multiple personality dissorder and due to there dark magic, she gets her pyro-kenisis....

Or we could just make her a seperate character and never really call her Typhoid Mary but just Mary...I-I really don't like to consider Typhoid from Elektra Typhoid Mary.

Yeah but aside from having Typhoid in her name she had absolutely nothing to do with the character. I prefer an assasin named Mary or not even naming her but making it obvious to fans who she is...Not to mention one's a pyrokinetic and the other has a death kiss...Kind of a huge leap.

ya, but i think the death kiss works well.... i still say, have the hand ressurect her spirit, putting it in another assassin's body.. named mary... giving her a split personality.. and through magic, her pyro-kenisis... this connects elektra more in the mythos (which isnt a bad thing, it was actually one thing elektra lacked that coulda helped), and other then that little part... she'd be a whole different charachter.... essentially the only thing that'd be brought over would be the name typhoid.. thats it. It also gives her a good origin thats honestly not that complicated

When you put it that way, it does sound pretty good. Especially the reason for the split personality. It may also be a good excuse to get Elektra back in there.

With how little the previous cast wants to do with this movie, I think it's best to pull a Hulk with this one. Hell I'd honestly be suprised if Daredevil even got a straight to DVD release (which would make me happy because the character shouldn't be so CG heavy in the first place).

I honestly don't even care who the villain would be. I just want another daredevil film as the first one was pretty good IMO. The director's cut was better than the original though.

Bullseye could escape from prison looking for revenge, and Fisk could help him by using his knowledge of Daredevil's identity from behind bars.

Or they can act independently of each other and make his life a living hell. Let Fisk hire someone else like Nuke, The Enforcers or Gladiator. Throw in something about the Yakuzas trying to take the place of Kingpin's crew while he was gone and you have plenty of chaos for Daredevil--oh wait. The Dark Knight is doing that. Just Kingpin and The Enforcers with Bullseye acting independently then. Bullseye being crazy enough to make his own costume similar to DD's even.

There should be a new villain, but the Kingpin has to be in it. One of my favorite DD moments in the comics is how frustrated he gets with how many times he has to beat the Kingpin down.

There was a storyline I thought would make a good film, but it's more about Ben Urich and a young boy than it is Daredevil. The featured villain is Leapfrog, who prolly isn't enough for a big movie like this. Besides, I want to do that one myself. Fanfilms ftw.
