Yeah that story definately lends itself to a fanfilm or an episode of a tv series or something.

Daredevil doesn't really have that many great major villains that can support stories on their own. Maybe they should do what X-men did and for a sequel go with a non-superpowered villain...OR the exact opposite and adapt the MGH storyline with The Owl. Throw in the Yakuza as well and you have some good stuff.

Matt Murdock vs. The Yakuza. In the rain. In his civies. Good stuff. Maybe Milla can be worked in as a PERMANENT love interest...Or they could repeat themselves and work in Karen Page instead and have her killed.

I think working with the Karen Page storyline, and maybe re-introducing Elektra near the end would be a great idea.

Either that, or the blind girl he dated for a while more recently. The issue where Bullseye comes close to killing her in Matt's apartment would be great on film, and a good comeback for Bullseye after healing from his wounds.

Or Echo. Her history with Fisk is definitely material for a sub-plot. There'd have to be a new villain of course, but stuff like this should happen in the background.

Daredevil's too good to let him slip away this easily.

Milla's the blind chick and yeah, that's exactly what I was hoping for with her. But Karen Page is more famous among the fans so they'd probably mix elements of Milla like the Bullseye scene in Matt's bedroom in there. I mean they already mixed many elements of Echo with Elektra for the first movie (including a playground fight scene that wasn't nearly as awesome as the comic book counterpart).

Mr.fear, and the owl I which i could have voted for both.

P.S. Kingpin and bullseye were kickass in the first movie

Why he's in prison, and we already saw him on the big screen. Maybe if you have the owl working for him by taking orders from him in prison while the owl takes care of things outside. But have Mr. fear be completely seperate from them too so it it's the movie a wider story to work with and there could possibly be more action.

The Owl would be interesting. But the sequel should focus more on Kingpin and Daredevil.

Yeah, Kingpin pretty much took a backseat to Bullseye.

That's true but Kingpin was supposedly the main villain with Bullseye as just the hired muscle. But Kingpin kind of took a backseat. Like he was only being established in this movie to be developed in a sequel...It's best to compare the Daredevil movie to a tv pilot really. It was all setup for future events. The next movie pretty much begs to be based on a Bendis storyline.

Kingpin's been established, now we really need to see him cut loose with all of that power. Really turn Hell's Kitchen on Daredevil.

yeah, then maybe have instead of him ordering the owl around from inside prison have Kingpin get freed because they can't find any evidence on him or have him break out.

I agree with you. That's the same thing I thought they were doing: establishing Kingpin's character. Now, since Kingpin knows Matt is DD, he uses all his power to rip DD apart in the sequel. Probably exposing Matt's secret to the world.

He'll be freed. He's always freed. I'd like to see him use DD's secret ID against him to make his life a living hell though. Now that would be an awesome sequel. Don't think any other superhero movie has done that before.

There we go!

Wow my computer is slow today.

I was thinking maybe Kingpin should be the one who exposes Karen Page to drugs. To get back at Matt. And you're right, no superhero movie has never done something like that. That would be really entertaining!

they could easily do a Daredevil sequel as long as we the fans write the movie, and choose who is in it.

Imagine if directors actually listened to fans opinons their films might be as good as Iron Man

Yup, I agree. It doesn't hurt to actually listen to fans who know what they're talking about. I just think some people in Hollywood don't care about adaptions and only see dollar signs.

right now Hollywood is about the money not the art, and that sucks

True. That's why we continue to get bad adaptions. But there are few directors who cares about the source materials, and we need more like 'em.

I know it won't happen, but a man can dream can't he? :daredevil vs. :unishr:

that would be awesome but we are never going to see films like that, I wouldn't mind a anmated DTV of it though

I dont know much about DD's villains, but they seem pretty odd for the most part. Kingpin is great but the others.....yeah. I would do Kingpin or a gang war that takes place after his fall. That would be really cool.
