Dark Victory-No Spoilers Please

I'm getting the TPB of Dark Victory for Christmas. Without any spoilers, how well does it continue the Two-Face story that began and seemingly ended in The Long Halloween?

It continues it very well IMO. All the main characters from the Long Halloween are back, and several new ones are introduced. It's not as good as the Long Halloween, but it's still an excellent read.

If you enjoyed TLH, then you'll enjoy this too.

I really have to read it again, myself. The first time through, it pretty much seemed like little more than a rehash of TLH with Robin's origin tacked onto the end. Granted, TLH is so excellent, a rehash of it is still pretty good.

It's a nice sequel, TLH is better, but DV is quite good.

Batman wins...ha ha I just ruined it for you

It's a perfect continuation. Let's just say, that DV takes the very dark place Gotham was in at the end of TLH, and finishes developing things into the Gotham we all know and love. Batman ends up in a better place emotionally, the stage is set for the era of supervillainy that makes Batman comics what they are, and Two-Face really finds his place in the world. It's kind of sweet, really.
