Darkseid War

If I were to formulate a theory, given Batman's reaction and a desire not to get real retcon-y, it would be that [blackout]the Joker has no true name, because he's a being only made manifest by the existence of the Batman. He's the opposite side of the coin.[/blackout].

But I'm not the one writing this thing, so.

I went to my comic book store the other day looking for these issues, but I think they were all sold out. I'm actually kind of okay with it. I'm partial to collected editions anyway, single issue comics just piss me off these days. 3.99/4.99 for 30 pages of story and a s***load of ads? No thanks.

So if you prefer trades and don't care for single issues, why did you go to the shop looking for the single issues? Hahaha

Because I'm impatient, mother****er!!!! :argh::csad:

I mean, I still buy single issues from time to time, but with the way stories are told now, I'd rather have the whole thing than a fraction of the story for almost five dollars a pop.

No but I reckon it's eight. I read that Manapul is taking over on art duty for October and November issues to allow Fabok draw an oversized finale. :wow:

That's actually a relief to hear. I heard Manapul was taking over and was worried Fabok was leaving the title. Glad to hear it's only for a limited time. Not that I mind Manapul. His art is awesome, but I don't know if it's a great fit for the Justice League. Also, Fabok's is just astonishing.

Ok this is awesome :woot:

[BLACKOUT]The identity of Joker has me on edge. I really hope it isn't a lousy answer like "Joker does not exist" or the "Joker cannot be identified". I'd be shocked if the answer is "Bruce Wayne".
Honestly though, I want to see something very different. Like, what if Joker was never the guy that fell into the vat of chemicals? What if that guy actually died and Joker used his identity to be a more mysterious figure to Batman?
I never liked the Red Hood Joker origin. This is a great opportunity to make Joker even more of an evil sinister character and spawn new ideas in future stories.[/BLACKOUT]

I honestly don't care about the answer. He's one of the fiew characters that I like better not knowing. I feel like it might diminish the character a little.

Damn, I loved this issue. Much better than last month's...

Fabok's [BLACKOUT]Kalibak[/BLACKOUT] is huge and actually looks threatening. And I hope [BLACKOUT]Barda[/BLACKOUT] shows up later...

Damn another awesome issue. Some really great imagery in this issue as well. Like epic and badass. :hmr: loved it

This has been the best JL has been since the reboot. I like seeing Lashina/Kalibak/all of them again. WW is the HBIC and I hope Johns continues with writing her this good after this arc is over.

Man I'm hopping Batman gets elevated to remotely similar to Morrison bat God levels after , or even later on , this run. He has had acces and control of
the mobilis chair
. He has a photographic memory and
acces to near infinite knowledge
theres no reason why his new Batsuit can't be upgraded with Future/alien tech. I don't want an over reliance on it but I would love to see some moments were he kicks ass because of if it.

Another month, another stellar issue of Justice League. Is it September yet?

I am so ****ing excited for
Hal Jordan and Batgod in Space

Everything else too. But that'll be interesting.

There's just so much win going on so far with this arc.

Anyone just love Grail? Opposite to WW and Darkseid's daughter, thats awesome.

Something about bad Wonder Woman just does it for me. She is completely different from Superwoman too.
