I cant believe I never made this connection before! Goku and Supermans histories are almost exactly the same! Goku was sent to earth because his planet was blown up and he was one of the last surviving sayajins. Superman, same thing.

Goku and Superman have almost the same powers cept Goku throws fireballs and Superman has laser eyes and can see through walls and has artic breath. but both have superhuman strenght and fly.

there is a difference tho. goku was only sent to earth b/c he was a lowclass warrior and supposed to kill all the humans so frieza could sell it. he was sent b4 the explosion, not b/c it was exploding, like supermans. but ur rite they are closely related.

The original Goku was never ment to be an alien. If you know about dragon ball you would know that the whole Alien and SS stuff is because one thing lead to the other and bam, you have aliens.

You can see the differences in both the story, script and overall characters. By the middle of the namek saga you were not seeing Goku that was a child and was a martial arts guy who just happened to have a tail. He was now an alien with the power to destroy the earth. He is no longer the old Goku that I grew up with.
