DC Animated - Superman/Batman: Public Enemies

Since there are two Supermans in this story what if they have both Tim Daly and George Newbern to voice Superman?

I don't think they are getting Tim Daly.....he's gone on to do grownup TV, like Private Practice...heh

It's just voice work. He could bang that out in an afternoon while sipping tea and talking into a mic. He's not too big to turn down a pay check. Private Practice ain't exactly wings. :o

ya...but it probably pays better....and Id sooner hang out around Kate Walsh then that bottle blonde chick they had on Wings any day

To be fair, everybody looked trashy in the 90's.

Yeah, even Heather Locklear.

*shudder*

I'd like Michael Keaton to do Batman's voice. I know it's probably not gonna happen, but it would be bloody cool. :woot:

Thats stupid. David Boreanaz, Tricia Helfer, Neil Patrick Harris, Adam Baldwin and many, many others are doing "grown-up TV" and have also done these movies. If Tim Daly isnt gonna do it, thats fine, but him doing Private Practice isnt really a legitimate excuse.

it was a joke....kinda

tim daly was doing a show called "the nine" back in 2006 when that craptastic movie brainiac attacks came out for which he provided the voice for superman. another example would be christopher meloni who is on that law and order show, he's the voice of hal jordan in the upcoming animated gl. they can get anyone to do anything. i think if they can't then the actor doesn't want to do it. at least for voice acting.

The Supes and Bats vs Captain Marvel and Hawkman better be in this one.

And if they pulled that off even better than "Clash" then this movie would rock.

I hope this leads to sequels. I really liked the Supergirl arc.

I do like the inclusion of the Bat Family but they are only there for like 30 seconds and they all pass out....and since Im not up on my Superman lore, who is the S-Girl that Connor was trapped in the sphere with??

I cant even remember... **** there are like ten Supergirls out there.

EDIT: Here, I looked on wikipedia... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cir-El
I've honesty never heard of or seen her outside of the Public Enemies arc.

I dig the short, black hair.....Im just interested to see President Lex....I loved that DC did that and actually committed to that arc....I even have a 'LEX 2000' flier somewhere

I think they may replace her with Kara, so as not to confuse the general public, since this has Supes and Bats names on it.

Only reason she was even in the story was because she just happened to had been in the Superman comics for a couple of particular storyarcs. Back then DC was all about the continuity.

Or they'll just not have her at all, in case they decide to adapt the "Supergirl" arc next...

The supergirl arc following public enemies includes the fight between Superman and Darkseid in orbit around the sun right? That looked absolutely amazing in the comics, I'd love to see that on screen.

I think it looks good. It's less than a minute long.

I really hope Tim comes back as Superman, that George Newbern really bothered me (he was a bit nasal and not ballsy enough for Superman).
