DC Direct's Newest Female Line...Ame-Comi Figures

DC Direct is poised to take their heroines to a new level in 2008 with Ame-Comi. An internal redesign of Catwoman, Batgirl, Powergirl and others in an Anime-style, in-scale with other Dc Direct action figure lines. These super heroines make even the baddest look innocent.

All I can say is WOW!!

Here is Catwoman, Batgirl and concept art for Harley Quinn and Zatanna.

Powergirl, Supergirl and concept art for Hawkgirl, Poison Ivy, Supergirl (in black) and oh yeah...Wonder Woman!!

And here is the Wonder Woman concept art up close...can't wait for this line-up!!

The Batgirl is OK, it'll have to wow me once I see it to get it so its possible. Same with Poison Ivy.

They really dropped the ball on her figure. I'd honestly get one of each but no way would I get her. She sucks. All the others are nice, but I wanna limit myself to only the Bat-related ones aside fro Wonder Woman.

The face sculpt sorta ruins it and the armor feels a little flat but otherwise I think it has potential. DCD's got a year. Maybe they'll fix some of it.

Same here. Plus they're $30, so I'd definitely have to see it up close to decide. My fav is the Catwoman, she's in a sexy pose. Man, Power Girl got no justice. Her Ame-Comi fig sucks.
