Dc Or Marvel? Your Favourite And Why

Marvel for sure. It's always been Marvel for me. I love DC too though...when I was younger I didn't but now i've come to appreciate and respect them as well. Marvel is my fave because I grew up with it moreso then DC, but they are both amazing and I read both.

Marvel for me for the far better character design (characters like gambit and magneto spring to mind) and human nature of their characters not gods like superman just (mainly) humans granted incredible powers through their genetic makeup a genius idea from stan lee.

...although recently I've been enjoying some DC titles (Batman, Detective, JLA, Robin, Action etc...)..although had it not been for Marvel falling on its face with a number of their top titles I never would have even looked DC's way hence...wait a minute...what the hell was the question again?

Screw DC, the only good thing that has come out of that non-talented Garbage is BatMan, All the writing sucks except Frank Miller ( Hence Batman ) their costumes are just, lets face it, "Liberachi" They come out with stupid characters like "Time Man" and "Tomorrow Woman" Did I mention the writing sucks?

Marvel has good characters based off of Things people actually believed in a long time ago...or still do, like Thor. They accept the occasional costume change and dont just make it some one else everytime their appearnce is changed. They have good writers that make it feel like you are freaken there.
I wish they would both stop ripping off of each other though...

marvel is like my long term steady boring wife and DC is like my mistress i cheat on once in a while and really gets my juices going...

my mistress possibly may not be the best and been through me with all the hardships but my wife has lost her spark and i need my excitement.

That's why they're usually the mistress instead of the wife. Because they're usually low class ****es.

Though, I don't know why you'd use this characterization for comics.

I like each for different reasons. DC does better graphic novels and the Batman Writers are awesome ... Marvel comes up with Characters who are flawed and deal with real issues ... both have pros and cons to them.

If Marvel could do decent graphic novels without botching them, they might be slightly ahead ...
