I don't have a personal preference, but as of now, DC's comics are alot better.

It's really a tossup for me.

DC is good right now, and has a lot of books I'm reading, but on the other spectrum, Marvel has Annihilation so...

Niether, about creators for me.

I am more familiar with marvel.

Both produce good comics and both produce bad comics.

Marvel has been going down the tubes since avengers disassembled. I've given marvel so many chances that i'm kinda just burnt out. And then they come out with that half-@ss civil war storyline which is nothing when compared to the epic scope of infinite crisis. I really hope that good ol marvel finally gets out of this downward spiral

marvel for me...superman is my favourite hero...but marvel as a whole are thre best for me.

Character-wise, I'm pretty split. Batman's always been, and always will be, my favorite, sure, but I love Captain America too. And the X-Men and Fantastic Four and Deadpool, etc., etc.

However, generally, I usually find myself much more...comfortable with the DC Universe. Y'know, whatever's happening in it, or it's history, I feel more comfortable and knowledgable with it all than Marvel's.

And DC has the Vertigo and Wildstorm lines which rock pretty hard, so yeah, DC.

couldn't care less. Good comics are good comics, doesn't matter whose logo is on the outside, just like it doesn't matter which movie studio produced what film

Both.

No wait, neither.

No wait... image.

Ouch. Image? Geez, what a kick to the nads for Marvel and DC. :(
I dunno, Image quality has risen significantly since their launch these are ALL quality reads from Image:

Invincible
Walking Dead
Battle Pope
Tech Jacket
Brit
Noble Causes
Ultra
Girls
Rex Mundi
Rising Stars
Midnight Nation
Hammer of the Gods
Capes
Cloudfall
The Atheist
The Coffin
Small Gods
Wanted

Of the books I've tried, Image has a better track record for me than Marvel or DC

Yeah, but they're still Image. They'll never live down their beginnings.

Battle Pope is everything that Spawn should have been.

If DC and Marvel were anywhere close to being even (and they're not right now), DC's rebellious little brother Vertigo pushes DC ahead to a level that's darn near impossible to come close to.

Vertigo's resume alone pushes past Marvel.

yeah, but Vertigo isn't really DC, not really

It was when it started. I miss the days where the Martian Manhunter could guest-star in Sandman... :(

Been a Marvel fan since I was 10. 23 years later and I'm still a Marvel fan. I tried DC a couple times with Batman, Flash, Superman, Manhunter, but in the end they couldn't hold my interest.

DC has both Wildstorm and Vertigo, what does Marvel have that comes anywhere close to what comes from those two?

Vertigo's resume alone pushes past DC. It pushes past everything. As far "mainstream" comic publishers go, Vertigo is on top no contest.
