not gonna happen anyways
It could be awesome yeah, but i'd rather get a new awesome Batman movie franchise that is closer to the comics and gives them the freedom to do WF and JL movies.
To be honest though a tv series makes sense. They are too scared to continue Nolan's work (or he doesnt allow them to), and they dont want to reboot again either. So they drop it and do a tv series loosely based on the nolanverse.
The rumor is 100% BS.
Urban has feature film commitments currently too.
Source? You could be right, but do you have any proof?
I am right.
It is **************, that site is a cesspool of straight up lies. They are clearly just trying to get attention for their embarrassing site yet again from the gullible.
Considering how the features division and Nolan were adamant about the live action Batman rights being solely reserved for the films, there is no way in hell this lie is anywhere close to being true.
Especially now when the film franchaise is an Academy Award winning Billion Dollar one. If The Dark Knight Rises is a success, there is no way they will kill the features to do a TV series.
The part about Urban is laughable given he has commitments with projects like Judge Dredd and Star Trek already
Anybody know who made this?Perhaps they could do the Dark Knight type armor, but put spandex type material over it.

So I'm watching "The Cape", and (like many of you I'm sure) I can't help wondering how much more awesome a Batman show might be. When the Orwell plot started, something occurred to me about Barbara Gordon. . .
I've always thought that the role of Gordon's son in TDK should have gone to his daughter instead, kind of hinting that her encounter with Batman would make an impression on her and affect her in the future.Yeah, I kinda did. Thanks for the idea!

Basically, I realized a way to make her Oracle long before she becomes Batgirl. And I'm not talking about paralyzing her.
It would go something like this: (Babs is like 15 by this point.) It's business as usual in Gotham until a mysterious hacker pops up, feeding tips to Batman and the cops, etc. It takes Batman an episode or two to figure out who it is, and he confronts her in her bedroom.batman:"Isn't it past your bedtime...Oracle?")
He'd do the whole "this isn't some kid's game" bit, but she explains her reasons for doing it, that she wants to help her Dad and stuff. Before he leaves, little Babs is all "Please don't tell my dad."
Overtime, Babs gets more proactive (like on TAS "Heart of Steel"), sees more front-line action, and then dons the Batgirl suit. And best of all, the writers could pull off all of this even if they have no intention whatsoever of paralyzing her later on.
