DC Spinoff's

I was doing some thinking recenetly. We all know that Marvel has a thing for spinoff movies, like Wolverein, Deadpool, Venom, ect ect. Well I was wondering why DC doesn't make spinoff's for characters? I think most of it derives from the fact that DC doens't really have that many of there characters in Live-Action movies. What are your guy's opinions, and if they were to make spinoff movies what characters would you like them to be about?

it would be cool. but they havent got a stable franchises done yet for any character besides batman. So right now spin offs are off the table for awhile.

When they finally get around to it, I want to see:

Bart Allen/Impulse spun off of the Flash franchise.

Cassie Sandsmark AND Donna Troy spun off of a Post-Crisis Wonder Woman franchise.

Siucide Squad to include Roy Harper as Arsenal.

A Jack Kirby's Fourth World movie with or without a Superman association.

Fables with Jack of Fables spun off of it.

I'm just looking forward to an actual movie, other than batman or a vertigo project, let alone a spinoff. Hell, I still have doubts that Green Lantern will actually get made- when its shot & in the can, I'll believe it.

why do u think that really is it cause of all the drama with its moving production location/ or the full cast not revealed yet. There could be many reasons for cast deal, and then the whole thing with production cost/location was something being worked on for months and all that.

Its cause cynicism grows strong here. There were at least 10 similar responses every time any news broke on the subject.

If a JLA ever gets made it would be the perfect way to guage response to Aquaman and Martian Manhunter, both of which would make excellent movies IMO but either suffer from a corny stigma or not being recognizable. When it comes to DC, they definitely need any signs that they can move forward with.

I'd love to see an updated Supergirl movie...unfortunately we would first need a Superman movie that did not suck.

If Jonah Hex is a success, I could see WB testing the waters for Bat Lash.
