Wow that trailer was great. One of the best trailers Ive seen. Movie or video game
I hope this comes out soon and doesnt get pushed back for years
Wow, that was pretty damned good. I would love it if the actual story had a tone like that.
Warhound puts you in the role of a freelance mercenary, whose job is to intervene in some of the most brutal and precipitous armed conflicts around the world. You will choose from a number of differing missions, equipment and your character's development possibilities. During the game you will freely decide what skills of the mercenary you want to improve
So, yeah, the games are comingThe most recent projects are a survival horror – Dead Island, open-world FPS – Warhound and sequel to the acknowledged series – Chrome 2
So, MAYBE, the games will come out one dayChrome 2 and Warhound were suspended several months ago. Despite the fact that Techland employs over 160 people and has 3 offices, 2 of which are purely development studios, it cannot do everything at once. As I mentioned earlier, we always have at least several projects planned and the interest of publishers and the market tells us in what sequence we should create them. Of course the games being suspended does not mean they won't be made at all. They are simply not being worked on at the moment.
Yeah, like many have said, fairly brilliant trailer in all regards. It'd make a nice little short film, as someone else mentioned. Of course, it'll only count if it translates to the actual game, but it's attention getting, so I guess that's a positive step.
That didn't take long. Days after Dead Island's haunting trailer hit, making it the most talked-about game in development (well, this week), a report already has it that the producer behind "The Mummy" bought the rights to a Dead Island film adaptation.
Sean Daniel, a producer behind "Tombstone" and "Dazed and Confused" and, in a career at Universal preceding that, credited on "Animal House and Do the Right Thing," now has the film rights to the zombie story, reports Variety. His eponymous company picked up the option. Union's Dmitri Johnson and Richard Liebowitz are also in on the project.
This has been quite the week for Dead Island, a game resurrected from development oblivion by the shattering trailer showing a family on the resort-turned-hell fighting off a zombie invasion, losing their child in the process. Variety said Union has been following the game's development over the past two years, and the interest sparked by the viral video "validated the company's instincts."
