Dead Rising and Lost Planet will be on....

That doesn't really mean much, publishers go back on their word all the time on stuff like this. See the Gamecube exclusive Resident Evil series shortly before playing RE4 on your PS2 for details.

I was going to say that also. But don't also forget Viewtiful Joe and Killer 7, those were originally Gamecube exclusives too.

Hell, don't even f**king trust Capcom when they say something like that.

But it was originally supposed to be a Gamecube exclusive. Capcom broke their agreement with Nintendo. There's a reason why the "Only For" corner was put onto the cover of the Gamecube version of Resident Evil 4.

So? Mikami also talked about how he'd kill himself if Resident Evil was ported away from the cube, which he happened to say after Capcom confirmed over a million times that it was a GC-exclusive series with no chance of ports, before that annoucement. Capcom (and every other publisher) has done this many, many times. "It's exclusive, we promise" means the same thing as "we are just as likely to port it now as we ever were, take that as you will".

Capcom was the guilty one. It was supposed to be a Gamecube exclusive but poor sales of the Resident Evil remake, Resident Evil 0, and the crappily done Resident Evil ports (they should have remade them just like they remade Resident Evil) caused Capcom to break their deal with Nintendo

January? :(

Its a good thing the Multiplayer demo hits live this month. That should keep me happy till January.

Publishers always suggest games will be exclusives to trigger sales. I'd expect them to be ported, along with Saints Row and anything else worth a damn on the 360 not published by MS (which is actually a lot, especially so coming up). But the same goes for the PS3. Assassins Creed will be ported, as will anything else that would make sense (UT2k7, Devil May Cry 4 etc...)

The days of generous exclusives are ending. It's just business sense.

Pretty much. The only console exclusives will be first party games. The developers recieve huge ammounts of money for making the games in the first place. Third party developers have no real incentive to limit sales by keeping things exclusive.
