Wait, the Valor was a rescue ship coming to save the day right?
Giantbomb's a damn good site.SILENCE.Giantbomb's a damn good site.
Anyway, I don't know about this DLC. Most of what they showed was recycled material which is a bit of a bad sign so early in the game. I don't really care about Lexine and Gabe THAT much to plunk down 7 bucks.
Anyone else think that Dead Space will eventually reach Earth?
Definitely. They can only use the space ship/station/colony motif for so long. Plus the original Black Marker was found on Earth, its only a matter of time.
I bet that something will happen to where "Once the Red Marker was found, the Black Marker on Earth was activated..." or something. I mean, Issac is my bro and all, but if he goes to Earth and saves the day, they will have jumped the shark so badly.
As hard as it is to say this, Issac needs to die.

he got got!
I know what you mean.
Yeah, he just got a personality (best one I've seen in a video game character in decades), but one can only do SO much. You know?

Master Chief already did that. :/

One of the big draws for Dead Space is the fact that it takes place in the middle of space, cut off from damn near everything. I think setting it planet side would kill that feeling they established in the first 2 games. Im not oppose to visiting earth tho, but only for a brief time.
Dead Space introduced us to Issac
Dead Space 2 gave him his personality
Dead Space 3 gives him his exit.
Personally, between Unitology, the countless space military corporations/governments and Necromorphs that are after him. He can't run and fight forever.
His exit doesnt have to be him dying tho.
Actually I think what would be neat is if you visit a sort of megacity platform in station over Earth, larger than Titan with things like streets, buildings and environmental zones and such. I can already picture Isaac trudging through an artificial forest filled with necromorphs.
It would make some sense with Earth's current ****** status that at least a sizeable part of the population is living in orbit rather than on-planet.
Last 2 or 3 chapters Isaac needs to plunk down to Earth to deal with the Black Marker.
