Infinity War Deaths in the film SPOILERS

Yes they pulled all the deaths off but after some withered away in dust and became specs of dust literally I couldn't help but cry but I was in legit shock because of how fast they basically just vanished

I think Vision should definietly be brought back. It would be true to the comics for that to happen. Loki and Heimdall 100% should stay dead, Gamora is complicated. I'm on the fence about her. I feel she is useful for GOTG 3 storytelling but... her death had a lot of weight tied to it so if it's reversed, might negatively affect the legacy of IW

Then who can they replace Gamora with on the Guardians team? Huge void that needs to be filled in my opinion

Thor as a Guardian of the Galaxy I don't know about that if anything I could see Gamora's sister Nebula filling the void that is if Gamora doesn't come back

I would be disappointed if Gamora came back good as new from her crushed body. Hopefully she will be working the soul stone from the inside in Avengers 4, and if she is resurrected comes back as something altogether different.
They could do a simliar thing like they did in the comics when Gamora came out of the soul stone with Warlock. Just go about it differently.

The PTB insisted that IW is viewed as a stand-alone movie, it's own thing seperate from A4. So even if they undo Gamora's death that should have no influence on the legacy or story of IW.

Pretty much. That team needs an adult to keep them from killing each other or getting themselves killed by being immature morons. I have seen people suggest Mantis or Nebula can take over that role but really? Mantis doesn't have the authority needed and Nebula lacks people skills alltogether.

Unless you have one of the Ravager characters that was in Vol 2 join the team to replace Gamora or an entirely new character probably Adam Warlock

We already know that GOTG3 is the end of the current team so for me a new person to replace Gamora is totally inconsequential because most of them are done after that movie. I rather have the team we spend so much time with have their last blast and then continue on with a new roster/formation/team.

Loki's death for me felt so anticlimatic

I'm a little curious what the marketing strategy is going to be for the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel, considering the movie comes out two months after Avengers 4. There's no way they can hold off on trailers for that long, but releasing a trailer before Avengers 4 immediately spoils Spidey's return in that film.

Gamora may not come back until Guardians 3, but in the comics Nebula gets the gauntlet and restores what Thanos destroyed, and then she goes nuts and they have to go after her, including recruiting Thanos' help.

Vision is most definitely coming back. First off, he is the Adam Warlock of Infinity War, Adam died when Thanos took the gem (Adam had the soul stone in the comics), and then he was resurrected for the final fight.

There was a line from Bruce in the film "there's still a lot of Vision left without the time stone". They weren't able to successfully remove the gem, however they didn't do all that work for nothing. In the comics Vision is completely disassembled and they have to put him back together, and he loses the imprint of Wonder Man (in the comics it was his brain patterns that were modled after), an all white vision returns, but he is very dispassionate and loses his feelings for Wanda. Wanda begs Wonder Man to use his brain patterns again to remake Vision as he was, he refuses, because he's not sure about the new Vision.

Vision losing color was a big clue to me, and Bruce's comments. Plus Shuri seems like she would know what to do, assuming she survived the vanishing.

In the comics after Nebula get the gauntlet, it's Adam Warlock who steals it back and then becomes the stone bearer and restores everything to normal. Going back to Ultron when Vision wields Mjolnir, perhaps he's the only one capable of controlling the stones without wanting to use them for evil.

Again, you look at part one and there were pieces of the comic storyline all throughout, with small changes. Warlock was a huge part of Infinity Gauntlet, and we know that he's not going to be in it, Vision has already been filling in that role as a bearer of an infinity stone, I believe he will finish that role in the next film.

Curious... are Valkyrie and Korg dead, as well as ALL the other Asgardians? Or are there theories that some of them escaped? Because if they all got killed, that kinda makes the end of Ragnarok feel like a waste. But I suppose Avengers 4 could undo all that. Though Thor didn’t really seem to care that he led his entire people to their doom; he only seemed to care about Loki and Heimdall dying so that makes me think (hope?) that a good portion of them managed to escape.

Thor told Guardians that Thanos killed half of his people, which means the other half somehow escaped together with Valkyrie and Korg, and we'll learn about that in A4.
Probably the ship had escape pods.

The only possible thing I can think of is that the trailers for Avengers 4 reveal the fate of all the post-snap deaths...which I can't imagine they would do.

Ah, right. Good point. Thanos’ deal is killing half the population so that would mean that they must have escaped.

I think that in A4 Thanos himself will resurrect Gamora.

Sorry but they will not keep Gamora dead. I don't know when they will resurrect, but they will bring her back. It doesn't diminish what happened here. The best death scene in sci-fi fantasy was Spock in Star Trek 2 and they brought him back. Doesn't diminish Wrath of Khan at all.

I still have not read anyone that complained about death of characters in the lead up admit their hand wringing about this element was overwrought considering the audience and critic reaction to this movie.

Gamoras soul seems to be trapped in the soul stone to me. And Thanos can actually communicate with her in that realm. However she appears in her child form as Thanos see her. I can totally see her being brought back. Her body could have very well disappeared as well and became the essence of the stone.

I'm thinking it'll be something along those lines as well. Plus, I recall Gunn saying when Vol. 2 came out last year that he wanted to do Gamora justice in Vol. 3 so I'm expecting she'll come back somehow.

Great movie and I loved it!!! But the only flaw really is that we all know everyone will come back from the dead meaning their deaths were not believable to me.

Loki, Gamora and Vision were believable...BUT

There will be a Black Panther sequel, Spider-Man sequel, and GOTG sequel coming....if they killed off Tony, Cap, and Thor then it’ll be more believable.
