These films are gonna be one of the most complex juggling acts ever. Will really take some skill to get right.

I don't know too much about Black Black Panther, but he has bested Captain America in hand to hand combat before. I think the Panther deity grants the newly bestowed Black Panther extra powers. He's significantly above BW in power levels.

In the comics he has the heart shaped herbs which given him boosted strength and agility, but then in the comics BW has been enhanced by whatever they gave her in the Red Room, so it's hard to say as of now what the case will be in the MCU. However, their "official" ratings in the 616 (which, admittedly, does anyone really trust those?) are identical with the exception of Intelligence (Panther: 5, Widow: 3) and Fighting Skills (Panther: 5, Widow 6). Even the fan ratings are identical (although both are rated with one extra IQ point and both have FS at 7 out of 7). So if those comparisons hold true in the MCU there is every chance the two characters will be comparable power wise.

Of course, Natasha in the MCU doesn't have any serum enhancements so if they do give Panther access to the heart shaped herbs and if they are as powerful as in the books (basically granting him Cap level peakness) than he'll be more powerful. Although no where near Thanos level.

Still, I'm sure the writers will come up with uses for characters outside of simple fighting. I've already given an example of Widow or similar characters being useful if at the beginning of either IW film one of their top guns is being held in a government prison who are refusing to release them. And that's just off the top of my head with no real knowledge of how they plan to approach the movies.

Indeed, you have the Gurdians, Avengers, Agents of SHIELD , and Defenders likely appearing in film. They need to work out a role for everyone.
