The Authority aren’t all that “we’re family” angled lol but I get your point.

I’m not that down on this; I think if you adapt Gail Simone’s Secret Six run, that’s a pretty good movie.

I’d prefer this over The Authority if we’re reaching the limit on dysfunctional family CBMs, which is a fair point.

I couldn’t care less about the Authority and wish a more deserving mainline DC character could take that movie’s place in the slate. I don’t like the Authority being part of the DCU, they work better in their own universe imo.

I’m intrigued by this movie though, I love Bane and Deathstroke but have to admit the pairing is random.

Arrow and Titans were both very far from perfect but I thought Manu Bennett and Esai Morales were both incredible as Deathstroke. Manganiello didn’t get much to work with, but he never felt right for the role IMO.

Batista might be too old for Bane now but goddamn he really would be perfect. We know Gunn isn’t afraid to cast older guys.

They probably couldn’t get him for it but Keanu as Deathstroke would be ****ing awesome

Lmao the description says they’re developing a movie INVOLVING Bane & Deathstroke. This could mean any number of things. Hardly enough for us to start going “TERRIBLE IDEA” and “THIS IS VERY SONY OF THEM”.

Yeah my guess is Secret Six as well and tbh I don't think this is a bad idea. Depending on the execution it could turn out interesting.

Never gonna happen but I'd love a soft adaption of Arkham Origins where all these characters are going after a Hit on Batman
