Deathstroke....when will he be used?

One of my favorite DC villians, when do you all think he will be utilized and with what character would you use him with and why. I would be tempted to place him in my Flash movie, but he could work with Green Arrow as well. In my opinion, of course.

Deathstroke is awesome. Audiences will love him.

He's best known as the arch-nemesis of the Teen Titans. So I'd say he should be the main villain of a Teen Titans movie, if/when they get round to making one.

Personally I think Deathstroke is more likely to be used in a DC Universe animated direct to DVD feature before he appears in the movies.

I'd like to see him in Green Arrow. For some reason he just clicks with that guy. We'll never get a Nightwing film so that won't happen. And Teen Titans seems even more unlikely. I'm putting my money on him being locked in Supermax. Maybe even make him a head honcho.

Deathstroke will also hopefully be in the animated Teen Titans movie.

Deathstroke's a slightly older kind of guy, so Ron Perlman works in that role. Keifer Sutherland doesn't totally work there.

Also Viggo Mortensen.

Deathstroke is basically one of the smartest and most cunning individuals on earth. He's a master fighter and tactician. He has no super powers except that he simply uses more of his brain than we do.

Wilson does have powers. He's the DCU's Captain America only with a much higher healing factor.

Aren't you clever. Pulling out a bad picture of a celebrity and trying to prove that he couldn't do the rule. I got bad news for you though. All celebrities of pictures like these. So don't try to smackdown someone's casting idea because of one stupid picture.

I'd say Viggo Mortensen is a good choice to play Deathstroke.

But if we're talking about total dream choice, never-gonna-happen-but-it'd-be-great-if-it-did casting, I'd say Daniel Day-Lewis.

I personally think the best person to portray Deathstroke would be Sylvester Stallone. Don't ask me why, but I've always imagined him in that role. IDK, just something about Sly and Deathstroke connect to eachother to me. However, now that Wolverine is gonna have Deadpool and there is gonna be a Deadpool spin-off.... I'm not so sure if I would use Deathstroke if I was WB or the filmmakers. Because they are virtually the same character. I don't wanna see any DC film get blamed for copying off a Marvel film.

I'm actually in the minority who thinks that Sylvester Stallone is in fact a very good actor (see "Rocky", "First Blood", "Cop Land") who has just had the misfortune to be in a whole load of stinkers (see "Judge Dredd", "The Specialist", "Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot!"). But I don't think he's the right choice for Deathstroke.

As for the similarity between Deadpool and Deathstroke... yes, it's true, Deadpool was originally a Deathstroke rip-off - Wade Wilson/Slade Wilson - but aside from the fact that they're both masked assassins created by shady government programs, they're very different characters - certainly in terms of personality.

Another actor I'd like to play a live action role of a character they voiced on a cartoon was Clancy Brown. He'd make a great movie Luthor.

yeah i second that. Clancy Brown is an awesome choice as Luthor. if they reboot it, maybe they'd cast him in it. (prob. not tho)
