Ok...I am a female, avid comic reader, but have only recently taken a liking to X-men. I know..I've been missing out...soo, I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for me.

I am very very much into the 1990s style of X-men comics, the early 90s fashion...storylines, all appeal to me. Someone told me to read the Excalibur series, but I have yet to pick it up..would this interest me? I am also a big storm fan, and would love to hear any suggestions for 90s comics that feature Storm..or Storm and Forge for that matter. My biggest problem is finding TPBs, I really would love to get into Uncanny X-men, but of course they don't have the entire series in TPB, not even the issues published in the 90s..so basically Im asking what you think I should pickup? I would LOVE to hear suggestions, Thanks :)

hmm well there are some great stories from the 90s but unfortunately pretty much all of them are only one or two issues and are not collected in any kind of trade. for Storm you might wanna track back and look at the 80s stories where she was team leader. these can be found in the "Essential" books that just collect all the books of the series in order in black n white. also the "Mutant Massacre" and "Fall of Mutants" trades come to mind (the second deals pretty heavily with Storm and Forge). i wish i could remember the name of the story thats about their relationship- "Life....something" Parts I and II. one was like issue #181 and part two was #198. back to the 90s, Storm was leader in the 'Uncanny' books all the way up til about '96 after the Onslaught crossover, after which the team gets pretty shuffled around and inconsistent. so if you ever go to a Half Price Books or can get old issues for cheap look for those. hope that helps.

I decided I’d start reading the X Men comics from the beginning. So I downloaded Uncanny X Men. I’ve only managed to read the 1st 3 issues. But I’ve got all 530 issues and I’m running out of storage really fast. (I’ve got around 600 GB of comic material give or take 300 MB)
Any advice?
Deleting after reading seems a waste cos I always like to go back and re-read every now and then.
I skimmed through them all and I noticed the gaps in the storyline. I’m not really interested in the spin offs and crossovers but might get them just to fill in the gaps. (That will take to over 1TB of comic material.)
Am I going nuts?
Most of the comics are in pdf n cbr format.
Open to suggestions and criticism. :D

Buy a portable storage unit then you don't need to save them on your PC
