Sci-Fi Denis Villeneuve’s Dune Messiah

I'm sure Legendary and Brian Herbert are already scouting talent.
On the one hand, I can understand wanting to strike while the iron is hot. On the other, though, when you’ve got someone like Denis handling the material like he has so far, I think you should at least do them the courtesy of actually closing out their chapter before you go moving on to what’s next.

The first thing that came to mind was the gap for the Planet of the Apes films between War and Kingdom, although seven years is a bit excessive. I don’t think we can expect anyone to hold off that long. But ****, WB at least waited for a year after the Dark Knight Trilogy ended before telling the world they were throwing Batman Zack Snyder’s way.

True, but I should point out that Brian Herbert's great ideal partner for continuing Dune is Kevin J Anderson. So, you know, his bar for quality is suspect.

And frankly, given WB's bottleneck in the Reeve's stuff, which HBO very, very much wants more of, I can see them pumping money to Legendary for Dune and Godzilla

That quote is from a podcast he did with Roger Deakins from over a month ago. It was just him spitballing about what kind of blockbuster roles that would interest him, and Dune came up as an example. I really doubt that this comment will lead to an actual role for him.

So first role that popped in my mind to who he could play is Scytale who is a face dancer (can literally change his face). Pattinson might have some fun.

Sources say the actor has been circling the role of the chief villain in the film, one that is possibly Scytale from Frank Herbert’s books.

Loved seeing Chalamet and Pattinson go against each other in The King, really excited for this!

This is cool and I’m totally in favor of it, but the only thing that immediately comes to mind is when is this guy gonna get back in the batsuit

Like damn dude, let’s go already
When, you ask?

But on the real, seriously, hoping Battinson suits up again sooner, rather than later!

I've been hearing rumblings about something awful happening in Reeves personal life so that's why Batman 2 has taken so damn long to come out. Wouldn't be surprised, but still pretty bummed, if he either left the project or it was cancelled altogether.

He's either Scytale or Edric, which, considering we don't know how he Villenueve wants to portray Navigators, would be interesting.

Nah, he's Bijaz.
