Designated Survivor

I enjoyed the pilot. It didn't drag.

Immediately thought of Cap 2:WS post credits when the title appeared on screen

.

.

watched it today from Itunes.originally i wasn't since it might in spring be airing against the americans when it returns.

Kiefer did good job of selling himself as a non-jack bauer character.let's be honest now most see him as jack.and some might dismiss show as what would happen if Jack bauer was the president.

Nice to see Maggie Q back on something intresting.as one who loved nikita
nice to see her on something intresting instead of procedual show.

Be intresting if the attack is more creative than simple middle east group which
pilot seems to suggest is a possibilty.

I'd bet good bucks that it's a domestic threat.

I thought it was a good pilot. One of the better ones to debut this week.

Every time I see Kevin McNally in stuff I expect him to talk like his character Mr Gibbs from The Pirates Of The Caribbean movies.

On a side note, does Natasha even age? I swear she looks exactly like how she was in this movie I watched that was released 10+ years ago. :funny:

She's gorgeous, and I am curious as to if she might know more than we initially think, just her reaction to Tom saying he was accepting the re-positng without a fight.

Man this looks so good! :mrk:

Least favorite part of the show was definitely Kal Penn. There's just something about him that makes me not like him.

I hope that the "low level United States cabinet member" is an ex special forces veteran!

Even better. He's basically just a glorified real estate agent. I like the idea that he's a guy that has no military or political experience and gets thrust into a role that requires both. Sort of a kinder, gentler version of Trump.

after two episodes, this has definitely become my favorite new show of the season...

loved the 2nd episode,Kiefer has been nailing this performance so far.

Yup another great episode. :awesome:

I said "Jack!" when Tom said "damn it!" at one point. :funny:

So anyone else thinking this was an inside job? I'm confident that Al-Sakar wasn't behind it. So it will be interesting to see how it avoids getting bombed into oblivion.

So far it's been solid but somewhat predictable. I like Sutherland.

IMHO, it's blatantly an inside job... the question is who by. that will be what keeps the show going TBH.

Also got a feeling Maggie's character's partner is alive somewhere... if not in the rubble but off somewhere else.

Love this show
and magggie q...damn yummy

At this point, it would be more surprising if it's NOT an inside (domestic) job IMO.

not at all shocked and rather pleased TBH..

According to TVline, Designated Survivor got a full season pickup from ABC, today.

What me and the wife usually do in scenes like is notice how recognizable the actor behind the picture or small scene is to judge whether they're going to be a plot entry at some point.

I can't tell you what shows he's been in, or even his name, but I definitely recognized the guy in the picture Maggie's character was looking at.

I hope that they prepare a script for a series finale, just in case.
