FX's The Bridge

[blackout]Hank better make it! :argh: RIP Charlotte. [/blackouT]

I love how disgusted Eleanor was at Charlotte's weak passcode. Also, Eleanor and Caesar bonding over erotic vampire lit was the best. :awesome:

Diane Kruger has developed into a really good and fearless actress, although we knew Sonya was never going to die she mined all of the fear and desperation and hopelessness from the scenes with the chopper.

I thought she's doing a good job as well. I'm actually very surprised at how much hate she's getting for her performance elsewhere. In another forum I visit, they always complain about how weak she is as and all that.

Good ep. I don't think Chopper is dead. Marco should have put another bullet and/or bury him after he got Sonya.

That shoot out at the house. Even though we knew it was coming from the first ep, it was still intense seeing it unfold.

Ceasar seems to survive everything.

Really picked up in 7-8-9. Had to take a break from this show, week to week doesn't help it... it needs to be binged. Is next week the finale?

I don't think so but I imagine we are getting nearer to the end of the season soon.

I lost interest in this show after the first season, but it sounds like the second season might be worth watching.

I thought the first season was better, but the second is still worth a watch. :)

It was good to see Sonya and Marco back on the same page and they got to Hank in time. I'm ready for Eleanor to get dropped as they have stretched the limit with her I think.

Zod knows what's happening to Sebastian's daughter at Fausto's greasy hands. :(

Can't wait to see the previewed interrogation scene between Eleanor and Sonya next week. Seeing as how both of them are psychologically damaged in some way, it should make for an interesting exchange.

I think this season has been great! Any word on renewal? I can't believe this has gone on this long already though and we still only got one season of Terriers. WTF

Yeah, this season took a bit but everything in the first 6 episodes payed off big.

I like the weird time jumping stuff they've been doing as well...

I thought Fausto filming at the beginning was a bit too comedic but other than that, i liked this past ep.

Yeah it was really out of place with the tone of the show, it felt like a riff on the scene from True Lies where the lead terrorist is filming his big speech and the batteries run out in the camera.

The scenes between creepy deep voiced buy and the girl were well done, as was the scene between the reporter and her girlfriend.

I didn't expect Eleanor's true paymasters to turn out to be the CIA.

Fausto always cracks me up even in the previous episodes. :funny:

That is exactly what i was thinking!

The finale was pretty meh.

I guess next season, Marco will be in charge. Interested to see where that goes.

I just realized; did they ever show what happened to Ray - the white guy who was with Charlotte and Caesar..?

And i'm also a bit disappointed that they never continued the storyline with what happened to that reporters kidnapped sister from season 1…..

I felt this season started well but petered out, the reverse of the first season, and they did seem to completely forget about the reporters sister when they converted the "Beast of Warez" storyline into the police corruption one, or at least I think they did.

I hope the 3rd season removes the Cartel and politics and gives Sonya and Marco a more linear case with more intrigue and less convoluted attempts at social commentary.

If there is a 3rd season, ratings were pretty abysmal I heard.

Yeah, this finale was odd. It ended things but I was actually wanting more out of what's next because I was over the corruption/Eleanor stories like 2-3 episodes ago.

Where'd Ray go? Would have liked to see his reaction to the massacre...

I can see why ratings would go down. I didn't like this season as much as the first. :(
