On the highly anticipated season five premiere, five years have passed since Katherine shot her ex-husband as Susan, Lynette, Bree and Gabrielle stood together in solidarity to protect her. Susan tries to hide her relationship with a new man. Gaby questions her abilities as a mother. Bree is on the verge of publishing her own cookbook as business partner Katherine grows envious. Lynette catches her teenaged twins spearheading illegal activities. And finally, Edie returns to Wisteria Lane in jaw-dropping fashion with a new man in tow, her new husband Dave (played by Neal McDonough).

I was a fan of the fourth season, and I can't wait for the premiere tonight.

So who watched it last night what were your thoughts on it.

I thought it was a bit lackluster. I'm of course extremely interested to find out what the story is behind Edie's new man. I'm disappointed in the way Susan and Mike ended things, but I think they may get back together, that's what I'm hoping.

Yeah i swear i thought that dude died in the crash and then towards the end when he was standing outside i thought it was a ghost lol. And whats the story behind that new guy in the neighborhood the guy at the end that need to check in with the doctor.

Also I watch this show with my gf so don't think I'm g*y or something lol its just something to watch on a Sunday night

It seems like he may have some payback with someone on the block. Anyway, dude is totally out there and has Edie in serious check.

I think edie's new husband was the husband of the woman susan and mike killed and now he wants to get revenge on mike

That's almost what I thought (Except I thought he would go after Susan) but in reflection it seems a little too obvious for the begining of the season, as well as too simple. I think we've been tricked into thinking it's this; the same way we were played to make think that it was Mike who had died in the car accident!......

A meeting in the ladies room, Revelations
Lynette finds out about Porter's lady love, Porter finds out he's got to grow up really soon, and Susan finds out about Jackson's hidden talent and sees his not so hidden love for her

I think the fact that the band is going to suck ass will totally put crazy into full swing.

Susan's daughter Julie (former main castmember Andrea Bowen) comes to visit with her surprising new boyfriend (played by Steven Weber). Gabrielle uncovers the unsettling truth about Mrs. Hildebrand's past. Katherine has a confession to make to Susan. A reporter looks to expose Bree's imperfections. Lynette learns Porter and Anne Schilling (guest star Gail O'Grady) plan to leave Fairview and disappear. Meanwhile, everyone has gathered at a club to see the guys play in the annual "Battle of the Bands" when a fire erupts, threatening the lives of those in attendance. Some will fall as a hero will rise.

i dont see why the actress would let them just take her character back to square one.

she moved beyond all the materialism and caring about looks but now shes the old gabby.

They changed Gaby back because of how badly the public response to frumpy Gaby was.
