Turns out Connor is actually a second playable character. It definitely looks like like Heavy Rain, with multiple characters going through their own arcs that will eventually intersect. My excitement has definitely risen.

I didn't think of that, but I'd totally love to play as a human character in this game. I just hope they don't go the HR route and try to add some twist where there's a character that you play as that is secretly the bad guy. This is the type of game that can raise a lot of interesting questions, similar to how Mass Effect and Fallout try to with synthetic life, so I really hope they push that idea the most.

You get heavy rain for free if you preorder this digitally. Looks like that will be the boxart so I could go digital with this one

I will definitely buy this at some point. Fahrenheit and Beyond: Two Souls are great games. Heavy Rain wasn't as good but it was still good.

I hope that isn't the final conver art. I think Kara should be on the cover.

It appears that John Paesano (Daredevil, Defenders, The Maze Runner, Mass Effect: Andromeda) will be composing the score in collaboration with Johannes Vogel and Adam Hochstatter.

Honestly this is a bit of letdown for me. I very much enjoyed Lorne Balfe's score for Beyond: Two Souls, so I was looking forward to what he would do on Detroit. Paesano, on the other hand, has never impressed me. I hope the fact that he's working with other composers this time will improve the quality of the music.

Never heard of the other composers, though. I wonder how the narrative flow of the music will work with three composers handling differing segments. Interesting idea, though.

I saw a bus today with CyberLife written on the side and a poster for Detroit: Become Human on the back. I went to the twitter account and saw this. I guess the development team is getting a tour of the city.

I've been playing Indigo Prophecy to lead up to Detroit: Becoming Human. It's dated but very good, and it has a strong Heavy Rain vibe.

That was my first exposure to this company.
Ind. Prophecy is awesome. The gameplay and soundtrack blew me away, back then. It felt original. It felt like a completely new experience to me.

Now, I'm not really paying attention to Detroit. I guess I'll wait for the players feedback and reviews.

Heavy Rain is my favorite Quantic Dream game so far, probably. Beyond: Two Souls is pretty good as well, although it didn't have as strong of an impact on me.

I'm so glad that I discovered Indigo Prophecy! I really missed out on something.

I don't have the "hype" for Detroit: Becoming Human. Unless the game gets universally panned, I will probably go ahead and buy it or maybe wait a little for an online price drop.
