Diamond List for December 12, 2007

I have no idea what Scott Pilgrim is.

It is an indie that has gotten rave reviews everywhere, and is released in trade form every so often. I think there are 4 or something.

It has something to do with music and relationships and whatnot, or at least that is my misinformed opinion of it. Like I said, it isn't my bag, and my odds of reading it are about as likely as me joining the NBA, but that doesn't mean I don't respect the wish to promote and enjoy an acclaimed indie title in an avatar.

If you're not as close minded about personal taste in comics as I usually am (superheroes or bust), it probably is worth grabbing from how much everyone else seems to love it.

I think Scott Pilgrim is supposed to be about some dude fighting these ninja masters so he can date his girlfriend or some s**t. I got an issue for free comic book day a couple of years ago. Didn't really do anything for me. But then again, with most things it's always best to start at the beginning. I had the same reaction to fables. Buying an issue right in the middle of the run. Going back and buying the first trade made me see how awesome the book is.

I never did get to read the FCBD issue. I don't think my store got it in for reason. Anyway, Scott Pilgrim's certainly not the absolute best thing ever printed, but it is a lot of fun.

Thanks PJ. But, I'm looking for the main page, where it shows the list for 12/05 and then 12/12. I want to set it in my favorites on my browser, but I can't find that page since they changed it to "new releases". Does that make sense?

Is the link on their main page not working for you? From the main page, you should just have to click on "New Releases" in the left hand column and it takes you to the shipping list page.
