DRAFTED #2 $3.50 (Possibly. I honestly haven't even read Drafted #1 still. :()
GARGOYLES #6 $3.95 (Yeah, I'll believe this one when I actually have it in my hands. I wish Weisman would replace his ****ty artist or do whatever he needs to to speed this crap up.)

I do actually factor about $40 for comics per week into my budget.

I do read more than just New Avengers. That's all I read that's coming out this week. I also buy up a lot of back issues. But, I'm trying to save money to move and that's a pain in the arse. First and last months rent, security deposit, utilities, moving expenses...it adds up. So I'm trying to save money where I can.

DC:
Black Adam Dark Age 3 (This has become my favorite book so far. I'm surprised not many people are picking this up.)
Green Lantern 24

MARVEL:
Friendly Neigborhood Spiderman 24
New Avengers 35

The Dark Age is pretty great. I only wish it had come out before Countdown so it wasn't such a jolt going from a totally depowered Black Adam at the end of 52 to a mysteriously normal BA in Countdown.
Haha I do. I have £35 a week.
Geez, that's a lot. That's like $70. Which, actually, is how much I really tend to spend on comics every week lately, in spite of my budget. I gotta cut back. :(

But, do you want to cut back?
No. If anything, I want to buy more stuff now that I'm actively seeking out new indie series to try. But I also need to buy other things. I've been in my current apartment for two months and I still dump my clothes at the foot of my bed after I wash them because I haven't bought a new set of drawers for them.

Hey, is Luke Cage still a main character in Heroes for Hire? I might start reading that one.

Neither Luke nor Danny are main characters in the current Heroes for Hire series. It's Misty, Colleen, Humbug, Paladin, Black Cat, and some others, I believe.

Dressers are ugly. Closets are best.

Force of habit dude.

And after all that, "I'm not buying OMD!"...Tsk, tsk.

I'm not though. I just saw FNSM and left it on because I'm so used to picking it up. Get off my back old man.

Yeah, the average comic is £2.15 here which is about $4.50 anyway.

Oh, so you've actually got right around the $40 in your budget that I do when you take into consideration exchange rates and your more expensive comics.

They're also a lot bigger and unnecessary for the amount of clothes I have. There's a built-in closet in my apartment with a nice little space on one side for a short, 3- or 4-drawer dresser, and by God, I intend to use it.
