Luke, maybe Scott has grown to a better director than the one that directed Blade Runner. Maybe he can handle the more complex storytelling of the novel to be a better adaptation.

I hope Scott still directs The Forever War. I have been waiting for that movie for a long time, and hearing Scott's passion for it in interviews and knowing that he would use Cameron's new 3D Avatar technology just increases my anticipation. I hope that all these other projects don't put it on hold.

So is this really happening or nothing is sure yet. BTW, hope it happens! I haven't read the book but saw the tv movie on Sci fi and liked it a lot.

So is the book that good? Really want to read it.
