Dick Grayson Casting Thread

I feel like casting Robins in general is always hard , because there's always gonna be an actor someone wants for Dick , only to have someone go " NO WAY HE SHOULD BE JASON " or an actor for Jason that someone will respond to with " NO WAY HE SHOULD BE DICK " and so on and so forth.

Honestly I can imagine Dick being in mid-30s. If Batfleck was in mid-40s in BvS then he'll be at least 2 years older in TB.

Dent would need to be/look mid 40s at least. Think Jon Hamm. Hammer looks 20 years younger than that

It would be annoying to see Bats so much older than Luthor, Superman, Dent..

And if he is in Justice League, Dent doesn't make sense. So he's probably Nightwing or Green Lantern.

I'm really on board with Zac Efron for Dick Grayson/Nightwing.

At 29, he's 15 years younger than Ben Affleck's Batman, and he has the ability to play younger than he actually is.

His height and build are perfect for Dick Grayson. He's got that boyish charm that Dick needs and he has the charisma to bring a natural levity to the character along with his devil-may-care attitude.

Efron's also grown into himself as an actor since his Disney Channel days. See his work in movies like Neighbors or his small but great part in Liberal Arts.

Just as Ezra Miller is going to inject the Justice League film with a bit of youth and fun, Efron could do that in The Batman in a natural, organic way.

Personally, I can't get behind this... I am of mind that Dick should have a presence and be striking. Appear like he could inflict serious pain if pushed hard enough instead of being beaten on regular basis. It might be that he'd come through and deliver, but right now I'm not feeling it.
