I remember getting two versions of this game when I was little. The first time we put it together and tried to set the trap off, then one of the ball bearings would get stuck, or one of the pipes wouldn't fit in the bathtub or some **** like that. Somebody actually brought one in to work today(they're stupid like that apparantly) and we tried to do it again, but to no avail. I honestly think those commercials were just created to get little children's hopes up about putting this goofy ass Rube Goldberg device together, only to have it never work. Man, **** this ****ty ass game. :cmad:

played it as a kid and yes It worked for me

terry, I think you need to try reading the instructions :o

No way guys. They were joking on VH1's "I  TOYS" that this game never worked. I've never played mousetrap, but I found that blip on it hilarious.

Either we've found the only three people in America who got it to work, or we have some fibber mcgees...

umm....yes....I still have one around somewhere and it worked for me every time....you just have to put it together right.....

worked like a mofo for me and my brother. played that thing until it stopped working yes, but it worked for a long time.

We shouldn't be so critical of Terry, I think we've all had days in Candy land where we just couldn't get out of Molasses Swamp. :(

Never had a problem, it was Mousetrap not the Flux Capacitor.

Probably.

"What board game woman got you aroused as kid?"

It's fun calling Auto Zone and asking the new person working there for a Flux Capacitor.

we played like one game and then lost the pieces

I never played Board games as a kid. NES, GENESIS, and SNES were my friends.

I loved this game as a kid and wanted it so bad for christmas one year, I knew I had gotten it when a bit of wrapping had come off and all I could see was orange (this was the original box).

It worked everytime :)

I think I used that thing for a G.I. Joe base or something.....

I remember i wanted to play this game so bad because of the awesome commercials as a kid. And i still never tried it lol.

Thats ****in awesome, is that an insane photoshop job, or did someone actually take the time to build that.

also terry, i had the game and it always worked, id never play the actual game where you have to go around the board and set up each piece one at a time, id just set it all up and set it off and repeat, white entertaining actually.
