Is it time for another Die Hard Movie?

I wouldn't really be interested in another Die Hard. I kind of feel there really isn't a need for a new one and I wasn't interested in Live Free or Die Hard. Maybe if McTiernan comes back and if it's rated R. They need to bring back that 80s action movie charm.

Aside from the facts. Too bad people seem to over look it. I cannot stand people who disagree with me on this issue. I just cant. Make some nasty comment at me, I dont care. But it's not right to tone down a series. Not right at all.

But what else is there to add? If its not gonna be R, then whats the point? Just like the AvP movie. Yeah sure, when they added gore, it didnt make the thing better, but they created a film for children. Same thing for Live Free. Which is why the movie was not nearly as good as the first, or the third.

I'll give it some praise for being different in the story and events. But taking out the uttermost important ingredient to his character....thats like taking Vader's suit away. Its the whole character.

No one is overlooking anything and if I am not mistaken we have had this dicusscion many time, or was that the other guy with the same name in lower case? but as you say there is nothing more for you too add, thus this thread for you is like Lindsay Lohan and a meat pie, they have no use for each other.

Personally, I think the 5th should be the final Die Hard movie. I also think it should be Hard R and make up for the PG-13 Justin Long mess that was of four.

They can keep Kevin Smith though.

I think John trying to stop a terrorist plot would be a good take.

A man, jumps out in front of the plane, yelling with a plastic shelled pistol in his left hand, and in his right, a DETONATOR!

John grabs the coffee pot from the passing food cart, he hurdles the steaming black pot at the man. He is engulfed in Columbian's finest roast. The terrorist screams, as John tackles him, beating him, all while yelling...

"You mother ****ing *******! Out of all the ****ing flights, in this ****ing world, you had to **** up mine."

He grabs the beaten terrorist's bomb detonator, and shoves him to the door. He opens it quickly, and sends the man falling to his death...but not before...

He lifts up the detonator...and says.

"Yippie Ki Yay....Mother ****er. "

He presses. A faint pop is heard in the distance.

"And a happy new year."

He sits down, and enjoys the rest of the flight.

LFODH unrated version was great. Bruce's F you B line after the girl blows up in the elevator shaft was pure Mclane. Simple, curse laden, and to the point.
