The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Director's Cut

Besides the combover, I thought Max Dillon looked sort of like Baxter Stockman.

^ Fairly similar, right?

Plus, he was just this timid, infantile, and pathetic human being who was tired of being ignored and once he got a taste of having true power and 'being noticed finally' then he just took it too far like Baxter.

There we have it.

Max is a Baxter from TMNT rip-off... not Nygma! :oldrazz:

Discussion was on track until you came in

:whatever:

Well I guess two wrongs must make a right then, because you've somehow managed to contribute even less.

Sorry bud, but you don't get to throw stones when you live in a glass house.

So how about that director's cut?

How much is there to contribute when I know little about it? Hence my question on the first or second page.

You say a whole lot of something and nothing at the same time.

Ask? Speculate? Discuss? Do you really need someone to cover the basics with you? Also, does your one question in the beginning of the thread somehow excuse you taunting people so frequently?

I can see that this is going nowhere between the two of us, so do me a favor, if all you care to do is be snide, just avoid me, and I'll extend you the same courtesy. Deal?

So now people "actually like" SM3 now?.... Okay lol

Here's a few interesting bits of trivia:

1. When Spider-Man 3 was released the overwhelming majority voted it 7 or higher out of 10: http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=270765 1190 votes, and over 870 of them are 7 or higher out of 10.

2. SM-3 is far better received critically than TASM2

3. You can bet the box office of TASM 2 won't come close to SM-3's.

4. The audience rating % on RT is dropping every day. It was 79% a few days ago. Now it's down to 75. It'll keep dropping.

24% of the audience liking it more isn't much of an improvement lol

They're also ignoring the fact that SM-3 has 2,256,415 votes for it's audience rating, while TASM 2 has a paltry 144,640 so far. Lets see how high TASM 2's % is when it gets to SM-3's number. Wouldn't surprise me if it's even lower at the rate it's dropping.

I wouldn't be surprised either. My viewing yesterday had a measly 6 people in the theater. Including myself.

A 7 pre TDK in a post TDK/Avengers world is like a 4 or 5.

Do we really need to bring in our complaints about ASM2 in here? I rather discuss what was cut and how it could be incorporated into a director's cut than whether SM3 or ASM2 is better. We have threads for that. Anyways I would like to see a directors cut or at the very least see the deleterd scenes on the Blu Ray.

Yes.

Lol. Great avvy and sig, by the way. I love it.

"Spider-Man 3" has an audience rating of 51% on Rottentomatoes.com and a 64% critical rating. "ASM2" has a critical rating of 54% but 75% of the audience like the film. The average audience rating is a 3.5-4.0 out of 5.

More people, outside of the critics, like "ASM2" than they did "Spider-Man 3." Also, unless "Neighbors" can take the #1 slot from "ASM2", I see it remaining #1 this weekend and see it making over the 200 million mark by the end of the year. If it has another solid weekend showing and word of mouth from fans is good, it will do fine this week, but come the week after with "Godzilla" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past" the following week, I expect it to fall to 3rd or 4th place.

I don't believe it will have the same profitability as "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" but I don't think the general public is ready to write these reboot movies off quite yet like some people on here.
