I truly hate that he ruined a college town and failed upwards to the national stage. I don't trust him on voting for working people and will just be another neoliberal.

I truly dislike how the US is so desensitized by the word dictator that we have to call Trump a Mad King. He is literally Hitler trying to wipe out immigrants and LGBTQ+ people.

I'm just disgusted that people I know are still actively cheering for him, they have no clue or don't want one.

Yeah, been talking about it in other threads, but the issue is you can't just call a spade a spade anymore. You can say he's a dictator or that his administrator is becoming (*became) fascistic, but calling attention to it doesn't work anymore. Way too many people love that that's the case and celebrate those terms now. How do you fight back and reverse that kind of damage? You can't use common sense or point out corruption (like you can against Democrats, funny enough...), because people cheer that kind of behavior now. How do you rein people back into any degree of normalcy anymore? Especially with outlets like Fox News going more extreme on them?

Don't know. I know it frustrates my brother in law to no end that he can't covert me. He won't listen to common sense either himself. Trump is the Anti-Christ as far as I'm concerned because he has divided this country and he's laughing as the lemmings rush off the cliff.

One thing I've heard several times is, if what he's doing is so bad, then how come the republican congress and senate back him up so much? I want to point out it's because anyone who's ever dared was run out of politics over the past 8 years. And Musk is threatening anyone with his endless money who dares have any opinion of their own. And now we're hearing that the politicians are scared to death of physical retaliation on top of that.

Yeah, none of that is right, but everyone here thinks that's just all made up by the radical left because they're jealous they can't do anything themselves.
