I think Rubio is a polished weasel. He's well-rehearsed for sure and very ambitious but insincerity just oozes out of him. He's like the right wing version of John Edwards.

I can't stand Chris Christie but I will forever love the moment he exposed Rubio to be what I said all along.

As much as I loved seeing Rubio get his ass handed to him I don't put a lot of stock in governor experience being some kind of indicator that someone is ready to be President. Ronald Reagan was governor of California and I consider him one of the worst presidents of all-time. George Bush was governor of Texas and we all see how the country turned out under his leadership lol. Of course Rubio couldn't make that point because that would have pissed off the GOP base.

The fact that you actually believe this ridiculous story says more about you than anything else.

The source is an Iranian Admiral and that right there should give one pause as he's an agent of an enemy country.

Also, Veterans Today is hardly a source of journalistic integrity. It took less than a minute of digging for me to come up with them running conspiracy theory stories from James H. Fetzer about Mossad death squads being the one's who were really behind the slaughter at Sandy Hook in Newtown, Connecticut. Fetzer is a well known nut and the fact that Veterans Today published his pap says volumes about them. I wouldn't trust a single word in their publication.

All I ever remember about him from the early debates(undercard debates at that) was his mantra that he was the only person running from either party who had served in the military and this somehow made him more fit to be president.

That was Jim Webb on the Democratic side. Gilmore polled so poorly that he never even qualified for an undercard debate.

The fact that Republican leadership says point blank Obama shouldn't even bother nominating anyone for the court shows what a bunch of whiners they are who put party first. If it were a Republican President right now, you'd be damn sure they want someone nominated and confirmed before November.

Obama has a year left. It's not even argumentative that he doesn't have the power to nominate a successor.
