I think it was pretty much all of them who were saying that inside but spoke a little more calmly when the cameras and mics turned on. Akin is a certifiable moron and the Missouri GOP should have done everything in their power to get him off the ballot once he made those remarks.I can't remember which Conservative pundit it was.....but he was so pissed off.....it was pretty much.
"Dude, shut the **** up, you are an idiot, and you DO NOT represent me.....life is not about rape, keep your weird ideas to yourself, idiot".
Of course that is paraphrasing....but was pretty much the idea. I wish I could remember his name....it will come to me later. lol
Akin really needs to just stop discussing rape. Everytime he opens his mouth he digs his hole a little deeper. At this point he is going to forever be known as that old guy who couldnt shut up about rape.

I really hope these fools try this. Obama can beat them for a third time.
I wonder where were these guys for 6 years when Bush was lawlessly using executive orders and they were in power for the first 6 years of his term.
Reagan - 381 Executive Orders
Bush Jr. - 291 Executive Orders
Obama - 180 Executive Orders
Good Ol' King Obama
Check this out:
Wilson - 1803 Executive Orders
Coolidge - 1203 Executive Orders
FDR - 3522 Executive Orders

To me the numbers are irrelevant, the expanse of the Executive Orders speaks far more...
Now, with that said.....I will let Neil Cavuto give my actual opinion on this whole matter....

Do you think this will backfire for the GOP in November?
That's a rather poor comparison you're trying to make. Considering the length of FDR's tenure as President, he's naturally going to have far more Executive Orders than any President ever. He's an outlier that is just an unfair comparison to any President. Also Obama essentially had a rubber stamp Congress for the first two years of his Presidency with Affordable Health Care Act being the only real major debate he had to deal with. That is naturally going to keep his numbers a bit lower and we're now seeing reports of how Obama is very willing to use as many executive orders as possible so we could see an upswing for the next couple of years that will make him comparable to W. Bush, Clinton, and Reagan.Teddy Roosevelt - 1081 Executive Orders
Wilson - 1803 Executive Orders
Coolidge - 1203 Executive Orders
FDR - 3522 Executive Orders

Since things like minimum wage and gun control aren't going to get passed in this Congress, he's been writing executive orders to try and get as much as possibly done without Congress on those issues. Or how he strengthened abortion funding restrictions in Obamacare to get the law passed with pro-life Democrats (because the majority of his own party wouldn't have approved of it in the actual bill). In the grand scheme of things, rather meaningless since the President is still limited by the fact that he/she is not a legislator. It's not like Obama can execute Order 66. But it's a pretty clear demonstration of how poor the President's relationship with Congress is and how much he just wants to completely work around them.Like what?

I wouldn't be surprised to see Obama do more executive orders on civil rights, climate change, gun control, and minimum wage. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a massive surge in them within the next two and a half years. I wouldn't be surprised to see him try to push as far as he possibly can go. And I wouldn't be surprised to see Obama eventually push an executive order that gets struck down by the Supreme Court.

Here's the thing, I'm not trying to portray Obama as a bad guy for the executive orders. I do not see him as a man wanting to become a dictator and I reject these "King Obama" criticisms. I understand where he's coming from. His relations with Congress are absolutely terrible. Much of it is the GOP's fault and much of it is Obama's fault as well. Blaming just one side is absolutely childish. But the fact remains that Obama isn't going to get anything out of this Congress, so I understand where he's coming from. What do you expect tho? The GOP are acting like spiteful children obstructing almost everything which leaves him little choice. This country needs a minimum wage hike, it needs better gun regulations, it needs to get on top of climate change. If congress refuses to get this essential stuff done then he should use his executive orders. If they want him to stop then they should start doing their job and getting this stuff done.

And frankly, I forsee him trying to test the limits of how far he can go with these executive orders just like he tried to test the limits of recess appointments where he just got shut down. And again, I understand him on that. Presidents often test the limits of how far their power can go and Obama is no exception here.
I'm not surprised he has so many executive orders
