Discussions on the Exclusive Footage shown at Consumer Electronics Show [Merged]

The sequence sounds absolutely great!!! But it's clearly that they've edited this action scene together (in other words, made it shorter!)... They didn't describe stuff like Harry throwing Peter through 2 building windows. They didn't mention Harry dragging Peter along on his glider (like seen in the end of the trailer).. They didn't mention Peter hanging under the glider or anything that we saw hinted at in the trailer. I think it's fair to say that this action sequence has been cut down.. They ALWAYS have when it comes to things like this.

And I dont think anyone should expect to see it on-line... But a lot of it will most likely be displayed in the final trailer, this febuary!

The action scene will be about 10 minutes top. That's just a personal thought;)
 
sounds pure awesome hopefully its more brutal than the golbin fight at the end of the first movie.
 
It will be a fight to remember :D i like the sound of peter using the razor pumpkin bombds against harry :D
 
^ See that's what makes me wonder!... Cause if Peter does that in the aireal battle with Harry.... then what the heck is up with the shot in the trailer, where Pete and Harry are in the Osborn Mantion!??? You also see Peter throw back a pumpkin bomb at Harry there!??? You even see Harry looking at the pumpkin bomb just as it explodes... Surely this same thing won't happen twice in the film, will it!?

It says in the description to the fightsequence, that it doesn't look good for young Osborn... I'm quessing this is where Peter will bring him to the hospital and we see Harry in that neck-surporter! I was so sure that Harry would end up in the hospital AFTER the fight in Harry's mantion, but guess not.. Does that mean that the mantion fight between the two of them will happen BEFORE the aireal fight-sequence!??

I don't see how it could. Despite the fact that Harry is knocked out, he survives the fall. The script summary said that he would. The mansion fight happens after it, and he returns for battle royale even later.

harry survives the first battle and the second. it's the final battle that he does not survive. read the script summary. it says it there.

no, he probably doesn't stay in the hospital long because of his powers.

what i'm sure of though is the aerial fight is before their encounter in his mansion, because at that time, Peter has the symbiote. So I'm thinking Peter gets the symbiote and goes after Harry because he's still pissed Harry attacked him.

yeah, or maybe he goes after harry again in the mansion because he saw harry and mj kissing but i am going to go with what you said.

that could also be a possibility. either way, he got the symbiote and for one reason or another, decided to go and whoop harry's ass. i know i'm gonna be laughing my ass off during that scene.

i think that scene will be amazing. the symbiote makes peter move faster so it will be great to see peter dodge the sword harry will be trying hit peter with. peter kicks harrys butt in that scene. it will also show how evil the symbiote is making peter.
 
didnt the script summary say it was a clothes line that knocked harry off the glider? sounds like theres a lot been changed from the script summary (it did come out at the beggining of 2005) so maybe some of the bigger plot points could possibly change, ie..... spoilers ahead,

yes it did say that but most of the things in the script summary are in fact true. it's a good source and so is the Q&A.
