Amazon just needs to buy Netflix out. Sure, they'll inherit their insane $12 billion+ debt, but they've got the deep pockets to afford that, and they'll also inherit 50 million more subscribers. Their content matches up perfectly already so they wouldn't need to make any big changes. Only the combined forces of Netflix and Amazon could pose a threat to Disney and WB and their established IP's, imo.

That would be a powerhouse combo. As it currently stands I get the feeling many people have Amazon Prime because of other Amazon benefits and wouldn't necessarily shell out for the streaming side on its own. Prime would have an amazing all round offering if it integrated Netflix given all the non-film/show streaming stuff you get on top as part of a Prime subscription.

Honestly, if it were not for the Marvel shows I enjoy on Netflix, I pretty much could quit Netflix tomorrow if I had those on Blu-ray. Those shows make up most of what I go to Netflix for any more. Have yet to watch Stranger Things so I wouldn't miss it, though I do watch Lost in Space and The Crown. I already like Disney + a lot more

Disney + is fantastic, I love the trip down memory lane every Disney film and TV series. I can't believe how much I've missed these shows from the past. I can't wait to see more from the original content with the Marvel , Star Wars, and Disney.

I said goodbye to Netflix with no regrets.

I don't like that it doesn't leave off where you're at on a show like Netflix. If you stop watching part of the way through, it starts from the beginning and you have to scroll to the next episode, unlike Netflix where it remembers where you were at.

That’s weird. It worked for me. I started watching The Mandalorian last night on my tv through the fire stick. I stopped half way through. I picked it up this morning on the app on my iPad and it started right where I left off last night.

Did you select auto play?

Because that might be the reason. I have no issues I'm able to go to the next episode with no problems.

I am pretty surprised we dont have a thread for Disney+ streaming services. The app came out last night. Not sure what time you where able to start watching but I did watch the Mandalorian last night and I also made a watch list last night of a lot of older cartoons I grew up with but have not seen in a long time like ducktails, mighty ducks, tail spin etc. There are also stuff I grew up on that was under fox that is now on hear sense Disney now owns fox like the 90's Spiderman cartoon. I am looking forward to like living my child hood over again. With how much Disney has done over the years there is a lot to watch and for only $7 a month its pretty darn good. I known there are some bugs right now but I guess for day 1 that is not a surprise. Any one else using Disney+? I am not sure if this is the right spot to put this in or not if it needs to be moved to a different area that is fine.

I got a year for free, by having unlimited data with Verizon.
