Disney+

I went to see if they had the movie Holes on here, it won’t be added until New Year’s Day.

Someone tell Kissin Kate Barlow to give one of those Disney+ Execs a kiss for making us wait.

The Imagineering Story's pretty good. A bit too much corporate speak for my taste, but good. They did leave some of my favourite weird Eisner-era stories out of episode 3, but that wasn't really the focus. They've got me hooked with that cliffhanger though, I've gotta know if the Disney company ever recovers from the late 90s.

I'm watching that Little Mermaid Live thing on here and what the hell is this?! Are they only making the songs live and otherwise just showing the animated film? Who thought this was a good idea?!

And yet it all pales in comparison to the Flounder puppet. Somehow the single worst decision in a show that involved John Stamos.

I am very curious to see if they try to spin the early 2000s. So many bizarre creative decisions in the parks alone. Though I don't think there's any way they could spin the terrible trio of early 2000s park openings. Impressive how they managed to open the three worst on opening day in a row.

continue watching option got added like either yesterday or today. I didn't use Disney+ yesterday but before that i had not had the option at all sense this came out and i got Disney+ on day 1. I heard some people say it was there at launch but removed because of issues but when i got Disney+ at launch i didn't have the option that night or the next morning. So this is the first time i have seen the option on ps4 that is. Also heard 15.5 million people have Disney+ now.

Yeah after I caught on to what they were doing I dipped out. TLM is my fave but I didn't need to watch half/half. It was a waste.

The Imagineering Story is really one of my favorite things to watch. I hope it gets a 2nd season or spin off or something

BUT Moana is Ariel. Your opinion is invalid.:o

I have to say, I was quite pleased that the Imagineering Story didn't hold back too much on how bad California Adventure, Disney Studios Paris and Disneyland Hong Kong were. They've done a good job at getting the important parts across within the hour, though I would love if they had gotten a longer season and been able to dive a little more into the smaller, weird things. Like Eisner trying to make an Alien ride, the 'homosexual fast dancing' court case, the various other incidents with Videopolis, the bizarre and awful layout of Disney Studios Paris, that time they TP'd Cinderella Castle, that time they made it into a cake, and all the other bizarre decisions that were made. But, for an hour a segment, it's quite solid and it's been getting better ever since they got away from the company PR Walt Disney talk.

Plus, nice glimpse of the model for Disneysea's upcoming Fantasy Springs about 13 minutes from the end. I cannot wait to see what that looks like in real life with OLC's standards of quality.

Is it over? There could be more episodes coming and perhaps a 2nd season

Two more left. What I mean is I would have enjoyed a longer season with the episodes having a bit more of a narrow focus. I think the design processes for some of the material here could sustain longer, more detailed segments or whole episodes. It's not really a criticism of the show, I think it's doing a good job at what it's setting out to do, I just am enjoying the presentation enough I'd love a bit more. As the finale seems to be going up through the now, I'm not expecting a second season, but I'd be thrilled if they doubled back for some further detail on larger projects.

So, they are doing a Star Wars kids game show, hosted by Ahmed Best.

I'll check it out.

That's adorable. Bout time Ahmed Best got some love from the brand too. He should have been given a good new role in a film after Episode 1 in my opinion, but hey I hope he's having fun with this.

That sounds interesting and different. Any more news about it?

I think it's meant to be like Legends of the Hidden Temple, which, hell yeah if that's the case. Hidden Temple was awesome.

Just saw Togo got a new poster and just saw that the mandalorian 7th episode is coming out on Wednesday the 18th instead of the 20th. I guess they figured it was better to have it not be the same night has opening night of Rise of skywalker.

I had forgotten about that show but it was awesome. I remember being a kid and wishing I could be a guest

Togo got a trailer it looks amazing and the music sounds amazing to.

I fear for their Disney+ Home Alone reboot. Shudder.
Me too. One of my biggest worries when the deal was announced was a Home Alone reboot and I can't believe they're actually going for it.

We now know what Iger's pet project was on Disney+. The last three episodes of the Imagineering Story. But seriously, episode 4 is like the nicest roasting ever. :funny:

I assume the last two episodes will be big on the Iger hype. Which to be fair, he deserves.

I loved that show, lol.

Defunctland. :highfive:

Instead of Olmec, we need the child from the Mando as the one the show continually cuts to. That, or as the idol everyone needs to keep finding. Imagine him hiding in a ball pit...
